Spirits and Serpentine

{Ch.3} First Day

☆ ~~| With Skalene |~~ ☆

  Skalene opened her eyes, as the golden sun shone brightly through the light organ curtains. Even with them being closed the large orb still managed to shine fully into the pearl room.

Skalene let out a gentle hiss, and stretching as she turned human once again.

"I must get ready." She commented to no one in particular, getting out a hair brush and begging to brush her silkily, raven hair.

After a few minutes of silents, there was a soft knock on the light oak door.
Skalene quickly got dressed in the same clothes she wore the day before.

"Come in." She says calmly.

The male receptionist, Christian, came in with his smile. "Hello miss Skylar. I just brought you breakfast."
He pulled in a fairly large, silver cart. On the cart was a stack of freshly made pancakes with maple syrup dripping down the side as 3 perfectly paced strawberry rested on top, with a bit of pattered chocolate stick out from behind it.
There was also a pearl cup with orange patterns, as 2 large containers and a box sat near it. On the box was 'Apple Juice' and the tanks had 'Tea' and 'Coffee' neatly written in them.

"Ah, thank you." She smiles, pouring herself some tea.

"My pleasure." Chris smiled back, leaving the room well humming.

Skalene eats her food calmly, slavering ever warm bite.

"Now," She says, grabbing her bag and putting a pair of sunglasses on her head, begging to walk out the room. "To meet my classmates."

She closed the door, as it automatically locked.
Their were some people talking around the bright lobby, with others eating or talking in the brow-colored caffe.
A mist of happiness and calm swept over the building, leaving all its residents in a state of tranquillity.
Skalene smiled gently, as she began to walk to school. Looking over the huge multicolored buildings as they reflected the sun.
She got to school after 10 minutes of walking.

The place was bustling with students who were talking or studying for up coming quizzes.
Skalene's dark blue-violet eyes scanned over the grass area, seeing if she could spot anyone.
Her eyes landed on a certain brown haired student quietly sitting under a willow tree. The girl was playing with a raven coloured pearl necklace, her baggy jumper loosely hanging over the girls right shoulder and covering her dark blue trousers. The girls knee-high boots pressed into the ground lightly.
Skalene smirked, walking to the girl.

"Hello there~" Skalene said with a gentile smirk.

Siara squeaked, jumping up slightly, looking up half frightened. "H-Hel-llo." She stuttered out, not expecting anyone to talk to her.

"Apologies~ I didn't mean to scare you." Sky chuckled gently.

"I-It's alright miss. Is there something i can help you with?" The brunet asked, putting on her necklace.

"No, I was just introducing myself to a pretty girl~" She replied in a flirty tone.

Siara blushed, chuckling nervously as she rubbed the back of her neck. She tilted her head slightly, the girls bright purple eyes looking at Skalene.
"Charming." She muttered gently.

Skalene chuckled, hearing what she said. "I'm Skylar~"

The girl smiled. "Siara. It's a pleasure to meet you Skylare."

"The pleassssure is mine~" Skylar replied with a smirk. ((BTW, When in her human form, i'm gonna call Skalene Skylare/Sky))

Siara giggle. "So, are you new here two?"
