Ye so it's fantasy au. Wanted to do one of these for awhile ;3

Don't  know if I should even say it at this point but this will have strong language. You should expect that from my one shots :P

(Your POV)

I look down at the letter clutched in my hand before looking up at the beautiful castle before me. I hear the chime of the clock tower from town, meaning it was 7 o'clock, the time I was supposed to meet the king. I take a deep breath before quickly making my way closer to the castle gate. Two guards stood in front of the large metal gate, when they saw me they became alert.

"What business do you have here?" The first guard ask a bit to aggressively for my liking. "I have a meeting with the king" I replied with confidence. They raised an eyebrow, my eyebrows knitting together in frustration. 

"What business would a simple peasant girl have with the king?" The second guard asked directing towards my attire which were worn out denim dungarees and a white shirt. I stomped my foot forward, taking a step towards the now defensive guards. I held the letter up in front of them.

"A job, actually" I said with a smirk. The guards quickly stood straight, acting professional all of a sudden. "T-terribly sorry miss, we were told about your arrival" The guard said turning towards the gate. "I shall assist you to the castle miss..." The first guard's sentence trailed off at the end. "Oh (Y/n), I'm (Y/n)" I introduced following after the guard. 

The Guard and I started walking towards the castle and as I got closer it became apparent how giant this castle was. I stared up at it in amazement as we got closer. "Uh Miss". I look over at the guard who had been trying to get my attention. "What job is it you'll be doing at the castle? there are already plenty of maids" He asked glancing at me. "I'm actually going to be the royal gardener" I say with a confident smile. The guards eyes widen slightly. "My apologies for assuming miss" He replies sternly. I chuckle. "The King put a stick up your ass? Why so serious". I laugh more at the guards confused expression.

Before I knew it we were at the door on the castle, the guard, who I still hadn't learned the name of, turned towards me. "One of the maids will be inside to help you, I must go back to the front gate" He started walking back towards the gate. "Hey! I didn't even get your name!" I shout, making him flinch. "Terribly sorry Miss! My name is Tenya Iida!" He waved before marching his way back to his station. I smirk. 'He seems nice' I think as I turn around and walk up the steps leading to the door.

I stand in front of the door, contemplating if I should knock but then I decide that I should walk in and see what happens. I close the door and admire the amazing room I'm in, it was like a dream inside the castle. Elegant chandeliers hung from the ceiling, the tiles on the ground probably would have costs thousands and glamorous staircase that led to the second floor which I could only imagine how that looked.

"Excuse me" A croaky voice startled me from behind. I quickly turn, facing the girl with long green hair and was slightly hunched over. I fix my posture, standing straight, the girl, who looked to be the same age as me me placed her index finger on her chin, tilting her head. "You wouldn't happen to be the new gardener? Would you" The frog like girl asked. 

I nodded my head quickly. "Yep! I was supposed to talk to the King" I give a smile which she returns "Yes you are but..." She trails off making me worried. "King Enji is very busy and hasn't got the time so he instructed me to show you around" She extended her hand "I'm Asui Tsuya but please call me Tsu, I am a maid here at the castle" I took her hand and shook it. "(Y/n) (L/n), nice to meet you". She smiled and took a step back. "If you'll follow me"
