When we figured out what Gerard was up to we had to warn Scott. The game was over by the time we got to the school. I walked into the boys locker room seeing just Scott and Isaac, they notied me then Derek.
"We need to talk" Derek said walking into the room after me
"All of us" Peter said
"Y/n, where were you tonight?" Scott asked
"I'm sorry I was supposed to be here but someone didn't want me to leave" I said nudging my head in Dereks direction
"Anyways that's not why I'm here" I said
"What the hell is this?" Scott asked
"You know I thought the same thing when you were talking to Gerard at the Sheriff's station" Derek said
"Ok hold on he threatened to kill my Mom and I had to get close to him what was I supposed to do?" Scott argued
"I'm gonna go with Scott on this one. Have you seen his Mom? She's gorgeous" Peter asked
"Really? That's gross Peter" I said sitting down on the bench
"Shut up" They all said
"Who is that?" Isaac asked Scott. Scott explained to Isaac who Peter was
"Boys can we just get to the point" I said.
"Derek you still need to take me home plus I'm hungry so hurry up" I said impatient
"Look short version is he knows how to stop Jackson maybe how to save him" Derek said
"Jacksons dead" Isaac said
"What?" Derek and I asked at the same time
"Jacksons dead it happened on the field" Scott said.
"You know what I'm gonna walk home instead" I said standing up I walked past Derek till he stopped me.
"Look I'll take you home when I'm done talking to them" Derek said
"I'm only getting in the way and right now you guys need to talk and figure things out ok" I said patting his shoulder and walking past him his hand shot and grabbed my wrist.
"Are you serious? You're not letting me go anywhere now?" I asked raising a brow at him
"Just wait for a few more minutes please" Derek asked
"Alright fine" I said sitting back down on the bench.
"Okay why is no one taking this as good news?" Isaac asked
"Because if Jackson is dead. It didn't just happen. Gerard wanted it to happen" Peter said
"But why?" Derek asked
"Well that's exactly what we need to figure out. And something tells me the window of oppprtunity is closing. Quickly." Peter said.
"So you're Dereks girl?" Isaac asked as we were back at Dereks house again
"Hi Isaac. And no I'm not Dereks girl, it's complicated" I said.
"But you could be" Derek said with a smirk. I looked at him speechless and cleared my throat.
"Know what I'm gonna wait outside" I said walking out of the house and instead of waiting I left. I knew the way back home from the woods.
When I got home I locked the doors and went upstairs to shower. I came out of the shower and went in my room to change. I grabbed my phone when I heard it ring
"Y/n, where are you?" Derek asked
"Home why?" I asked
"Isaac went outside to get you he came back in the house and said you weren't there. Why didn't you say anything?" Derek growled into the phone
