The next day I went to the hospital. I knew Derek stayed to watch over Braden last night. Making him a cup of coffee I went to check on him for a bit before heading to the clinic to see Dad.
"Hey" I said to Derek walking into the room Braeden was in.
"Hey" He said
"Thought you might need this" I said handing him a cup of coffee
"Thanks" He said taking the cup and looking up at me
"Hey, you ok?" He asked reaching a hand towards me and I moved back a little bit.
"I'm fine. I'm gonna go" I said walking out of the room. I walked out of the hospital and got to my car.
"Y/n," Derek called. I unlocked my car and turned towards him.
"If this is about Braden..." Derek started but I held my hand up.
"It's not but gotta go to the clinic" I said leaning down pecking his lips
"Y/n" He called stopping me at the door
"Yeah?" I asked
"Be careful" He said
"Always" I said with a soft smile then left.

I walked into the clinic to see Satomi and one of the her pack members in the room.
"How does it begin?" Dad asked as they sat him down.
"With fever. Then shifting becomes uncontrollable. Fangs, claws, even full unwarrented transformations. We moved into the woods when that began. Then it progressed faster and faster. They couldn't stand. But worse than that was this sudden blindness." Satomi said
"Total?" Dad asked
"They couldn't see a thing. From there they had only a few minutes left" Satomi said
"I'm gonna be honest Satomi. We need to get him to a hospital" Dad said
"That's never really been an option for our kind. Unless you know something I don't" Satomi said
"Not something. Someone" Dad said
"Y/n, we need your help too" Satomi said turning to me
"Of course" I said just as my phone started ringing. I took it out of my pocket and answered without checking the caller ID.
"Hello?" I asked
"Y/n, Melissa just woke Braeden up. The school called the hospital saying something about a CDC and Braeden said the wolves we found in the woods weren't poisoned they were infected and this infection can kill werwolves" Derek said
"Woah, Derek slow down I know. I gotta go" I said hanging up and putting my phone down. As I followed my Dad guys to the hospital. I parked my car at the hospital again and helped my Dad guys get the wolf inside.
"Okay. This isn't happening at the school is it?" Melissa asked as they laid him down on a stretcher.
"I was trying to get a hold of Scott guys on the way here" I said
"School? It's Saturday" Dad said
"They're taking the PSATs." Melissa said. The guy sat up and black blood came out of his mouth.
