I met Dad back at the warehouse later that night, we followed the trail of liquid mountain ash that came from Gerard.
"It was well thought out, you know he'll be back right?" I asked Dad as Marin stood over him
"You're not planning on getting your hands dirty, are you?" Marin asked both Dad and I.
"I do what I have to" Dad said standing up
"Good. I never liked you being retired anyway" Marin said as we started walking away
"Whoever said I was retired" Dad said
"Y/n?" She asked me
"My hands are already dirty but my answers the same as Dads I do what I have to" I said
"Hmm... you really are your parents daughter" Marin said making me chuckle
"Your mother would've been proud" Dad said
The fight with Gerard and Jackson was over now we have a new enemy to deal with, the alpha pack. Derek asked me to move with in with him he said he'd feel safer and reassured that I was with him at all times and not alone. Peter explained to Isaac why Derek had to create a pack of his own pack soon and told me after we moved into the loft.
"The alpha packs here? I didn't realize they'd get here so soon" I admitted to Derek and Peter as I paced in the living room at the loft.
"Yes. Wait how did you know?" Peter asked
"I just knew" I said
"Derek did you tell Isaac about..." I started to question when Derek answered
"Peter told him why I was trying to build my pack. They left their symbol on my door" Derek said
"So what are you going to do?" I asked
"I'm gonna go to the hospital. Melissa's been calling me" Derek said leaving the loft

Later during the day I got a call from Derek I met up with him at the old house I followed him inside as he carried Isaac into the house along with Scott following close behind.
"Scott shouldn't you be in school?" I asked raising a brow at him
"Derek asked me the same thing" Scott said.
"You don't still live here do you?" Scott asked Derek
"No, the county took it over but there's something here that I need. It'll help heal a wound from an Alpha" Derek said digging through the rubble
"Yeah but it did heal" Scott said
"No it didn't" I said
"Not on the inside" Derek said. Scott asked about the Alpha that he fought in the elevator.
"A rival pack. It's my problem. I know you wanna help, and you did. I owe you one. Now go home. Go back to being a teenager" Derek said
"Der, you know he's not gonna listen" I said as Derek grabbed a plant and brought it on the table next to Isaac
"Uh Hey Derek, if you wanna repay back that favor now... there is something you can do for me" Scott said getting Dereks attention.
"You got this from here?" I asked
"Yeah" Derek said
"Ok I'm gonna head to the clinic and see what's going on about the whole animals gone crazy that's been happening lately. The clinic has some animal problems too, call me if something comes up" I said. Derek pulled me into a hug and told me to be careful.
