Derek healed Cora his eyes changing from red to blue once again however in the process of that he passed out. Cora placed a bottle of water up to Dereks lips.
"You're okay" He said looking at her
"I'm doing much better than you are right now. All because of you" Cora said with a smile
"Hopefully not all for nothing. The moon is rising Derek" Peter said
"They know where it is" I said running down the stairs.
"Y/n?" Derek called. I stopped and turned to look at him. Cora looked at me and smiled I walked over to them and kneeled down in front of him.
"You drained your battery all the way to the red and there is a fully charged Alpha on her way right now to rip you limb from limb" Peter said
"I'll be fine in a few hours" Derek said
"I sincerly hope so, because a few hours is all that you have" Peter said
"How are feeling Cora?" I asked
"Better thanks to Derek" She said and I smiled
"Y/n, thank you" She said
"For what?" I aske
"For being there for him" She said
"I'm always going to be there for him. I'm not going anywhere" I said knowing that she got the message.
"You guys gonna be ok for a while?" I asked
"Yeah why?" Cora asked looking at me
"I gotta go. I need to head to the clinic" I said
"Y/n" Derek said reaching a hand out towards me. I walked over to him grabbing his hand placing a kiss on the back of it. The little exchange didn't go unnoticed by Cora and Peter
"Y/n Derek's not fully recovered" Peter said
"I know but I can't protect him" I said against Dereks hand
"Stay safe and be careful please" Derek pleaded. I looked at him and nodded my head
"I mean it y/n, I need you to come back to me" Derek said
"I will" I said placing one more kiss on the back of his hand, letting it go. Before I left I went to get my knives.
"Since when did you play with knives?" Peter asked
"Since the night Derek came back and slept with Jennifer" I said
"Really Derek? The enemy?" Cora asked
"It's fine. Isaac was ripping his head off about that the other night when we brought you home" I said. Cora stood up when she noticed the bracelet on my wrist she grabbed my hand and looked at it.
"This is pretty" She said
"Derek gave it to me last night" I said.
"I'll be back soon" I said kneeling down in front of him and placing a kiss on his cheek.

Nightfall reached by the time I came back to the loft Ethan and Lydia were there
"We know about the Lunar Eclipse, so don't think Kali's gonna sit around waiting for it to level the playing field. She's coming and my brothers coming with her" Ethan said
"Good enough for me. Derek?" Peter said
