Dark butterfly
Don't be afraid to soar so high
It may hurt a lot to be different
But who says it's not worth a try
You can never let them see you cry
The beauty of the others outshines yours at night
An array of colors pleasant to sight
While all you give is fear and fright
The pride of my brothers lunging for smite
Doesn't mean you have to change a thing
The dark side, they never win
It ain't wrong to be a loner
I mean it's not a sin
Take some time to breathe in
Darkness lurks within
Your heart far from clean
The soul's hatred may let the devil in
Memories of lapis, the prettiest one
Whose beauty radiated, outrightly shun
She shattered your heart with a long rusted blade
Then left you in the dark with nothing but rain
Show them what you truly are
They all mocked you and left a scar
They'll never learn till you take things way too far
Bundle them together in hot boiling tar
Lead the birds, make them follow
Ring the bells, invite them sparrows
Calling all hawks to new found gallows
Then hide in the dark watch from the shadows
Watch them die, watch them get swallowed
Piercing wails, echoing wallows
For the fear of death, bridges to sorrow
Who ever thought the blood of my kind could be so darn yellow
The crawling demons race towards the fun
Craving to join, craving for the flies crumbs
Clear nets of fine linen drawing but some
Look at how they watch the end of their loved ones
Show your power, make them plead
Then kill them anyway, watch them bleed
Watch them cower in fear
Hearing screams of utter despair
Tearing, slashing of wings with no repair
Gnashing of teeth, seeking help from afar
Where's the applause? Because I'm drowned in laughter
Death, the only sanity
Love, it's all vanity
My revenge, sheer brutality
The scenery of bloodshed befalls me
What a fatality
But at last, it brings so much joy to me
Don't you just feel so free?
Now, you're on a killing spree
Legends of the dark butterfly that brings birds prey
Are here forever and are here to stay
My dark wings flap in the most turbulent skies
