I saw blobs of dark rich green passing by me along with a bit of brown and some black spots here and there, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to know that they're trees. I felt the cold pointy grass poking at the bottom of my paws. I continued to run faster and faster until it practically felt like I was flying. I needed to get to the top of the mountain, I've never felt so determined to reach a goal. I was almost there, it felt like I've been running my entire life and that I would tragically never make it to the top. But I did make it to the top just in time for the first snow fall! The first Snowfall was such an important event for my family! We would plan an entire trip. We would go to the highest mountain near us and set camp, just the three of us. When we started to feel the temperature drop we would shift so that they could enjoy it too. I looked around and up to the sky, where is the snow? I finally felt something drip down to my nose. That is weird, snow has never had a copper smell before. More drops began to fall on me and finally one fell just in front of my paw, it was red... it was blood. I tilted my head up to see where it was coming from and there he was, my other half, the man I'm supposed to love, my mate Angello. I screamed in horror as loud as I could but not even a howl or a single peep escaped my lips. I shifted back into my human form ignoring the fact that it was freezing and snow has began to fall. I tried my best to reach for him but I could not, he seemed so close but so far away! A symbol from the corner eyes that was burned onto my mates chest caught my eye, a red sun burned into his perfect flesh. A loud shriek finally managed to escape my lips. Angello's dead body began speaking to me!

"Seraphina! Seraphina!" His velvety voice shouted to me. The view of his dead body was no longer in front of me but his perfect alive one was. I reached for his upper body pulling him closest to me into a tight hug. I disconnected myself from a variety of wires, an I.V and a heart monitor.  Angello was stiff at first but then his bulky arms wrapped around me!

"I thought you were dead!" I muffled in the crook of his neck.

"Me? I thought you were dead! You have been down for three weeks!" He caressed my hair. I quickly pushed him away.

In my dream when I thought  I was running for a while, I was running for three entire weeks. "What happened to me? Why was I asleep for such a long time?" I asked as I pulled the white duvet off of me. My body ached from laying down for three  weeks.

He too stood from the bed and walked closer to me. I took a couple steps back, not wanting to be bombarded by him. "You don't remember?" His voice barely a whisper, he noticed I was scooting away from him, so he stopped walking towards me. I shook my head creating a minor headache. "Your wolf finally accepted the link." And it all made sense now, I began to remember moments prior to me running up the mountain, how my head was pounding and the unfamiliar voices playing in my head.

"Can I take a bath, please?" I didn't mean for it to sound like a question it just happened. He gave me a weird look and nodded. He then grabbed some paperwork from his night stand and walked out but not before mumbling a 'if you need me link me'.

I began to fill the tub with water when I remembered about Olivia's home made bath bombs! I had already undressed myself and I was too lazy to change back. I was wrapping my body with one of the heavy robes that hung in the tub when I saw a tray of black sparkly balls, bath bombs! This tray was a true blessing.

Once I was done with my bath I grabbed the same robe as before. I quickly dressed myself for the day. I wore minimal makeup, even if I just slept for three weeks!  I have bigger dark circles now than when I pull an all-nighter. I wore some denim bottoms and a white well fitted tee with my sneakers. I began to walk down the hall barely going to pass his office when he called for me. I pushed open his big mahogany doors. "Yes?" I questioned as he I walked up to his desk.
