Chapter 6

Raven's POV
As soon as I slapped Toni's face with tears falling out like raindrops.

"I guess I deserved that," Toni said dejectedly.

I gasped as Toni pushed me into the wall and caged me in.

I tried to escape but he noticed and moved closer to my ear.

                  Omniscient POV
"You Raven are to be my wife whether you like it or not" Toni huskily whispered into the enraged woman's ear.

"No, I will not! Over my dead body will that happen" Raven screamed in frustration glaring at him.

"Little one, why are you fighting me on this? Don't you know how much I always love you?" Toni says in desperation trying to induce the little lady's displeasure with him.

Raven scoffed at his choice of words 'love'

"Antonio you know that you don't do the thing called love so stop trying to make me give in to you." She told him with so much venom dripping out of each word since that is her intention on conveying it to Toni.

"Please Raven I always loved you and I'm still in love with you.

I rejected your confession years ago because I knew that I wasn't good enough for you, I still to this day regret the fact that I foolishly turned you down" Toni looked at her with a pained expression pleading with an adamant Raven.

"I can't Toni I don't want to get hurt" Raven gazes into his eyes and the apparent melancholy look didn't belong on his face.

As she was about to speak again "We are not good toge-" Toni cuts her off mid-sentence kissing her ever so passionately.

Raven's POV
When I got my senses back I pushed Toni away and I slapped him so hard I am pretty sure the sound of my palm connecting with his cheek resonated through the whole bedroom.

"Why would you do that! Do you know what you just did you fucking stole my first kiss" I screamed at him.

He looked very shocked his eyes and when I caught him smiling a little he looked down in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry please forgive me, Raven, I didn't know how to control myself" He  apologized.

"Toni you don't want this marriage nor do I so let's just tell them it's not going to happen" I tried to convince Toni.

"Raven I want this and you will marry me even though you hate me with every fiber in you, I know that someday deep down in your heart you will find a way to forgive me" Toni ignored what I said and tried persuading me.

"I don't hate you, Toni, I never did because I was not raised to hold grudges it is too much of a burden, I'm just disappointed," I confessed.

"Raven, please just give me a chance, no screw that, give us a chance and I will never hurt you again I promise you this I will love you till the day I take my last breath" Toni held both my hands in a tight yet gentle squeeze.

"I will give us a chance but if you hurt me, cheat on me, or lie to me. I promise you that you won't be waking up to a new day" I told Toni with a crazed look in my eyes to show him I meant everything.

"Thank you so much, I promise me that if I do any of those things I will personally hand you a gun because my life is in your hands now" Toni moved closer to me leaning down to place a kiss on my lips.

I placed my fingers on his plump pink lips "No way, I'm gonna let you kiss me yet.
You are just going to have to work for it" I smirked at his expression and walked out of the bedroom to say my goodbyes to the Harris household.
