Chapter 9

Antonio's POV
"Raven" I called out to her wandering eyes around the diner.

"Yes, Toni?" She focused all her attention back on me.

I got up from my seat and walked over to her side, I knelt down and I gently held her soft hands then turned her around to look at me.

"Raven, I know we just reunited after 10 years, I regret the day I broke your heart and went on with my life without even thinking of the consequences of the words I had said to you. Then finding out that we are to be married whether we wanted to or not, I know you do not trust me right now and might still be skeptical about my feelings for you but Princess when I tell you that I love you, believe me I mean every word I said and like I told you I promise you I will never hurt you ever again and if I do I will personally hand you the gun to end me, because I love and trust you to that extent" I pulled out a simple engagement ring because Raven loves the simplicity of things.

"And I know you were expecting this since we are getting married soon"
She giggled and rolls her beautiful chocolate colored eyes at my words.

"Will you do me the honor of making me the happiest man alive by becoming my wife, best friend, a partner in crime, and most of all the mother of our little Raven's and Toni's running around our home" Her face widen with that enchanting smile of hers.

"I promise to worship you, kiss the ground you walk on and bend to your every will and comfort you when it's getting hard. Will you marry me?" I ask her nervously.

"That is the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me and to answer your proposal, yes I will marry you Toni" Raven pulls me up from my kneeling position.

"For real?" I really thought she was going to reject me this made me love her more than I do right at this moment.
"Yes I mean it, and you better not disappoint me" Raven seethed the last sentence making me chuckle at the adorable look on her face.

I take the ring out the box and slipped in on her ring finger.

"I love you so much" I rub the back of my neck and in hesitation.

"May I kiss you?" She meekly nods and I didn't waste any time to grab the back of her head and kiss her tempting lips.

As soon as we pulled away breathlessly the whole diner resonated with sounds of the customers clapping and lots of congratulations were said to us.

Bruno then came over and congratulate us
"I saw this coming before both of you realized your feelings to each other" Bruno told us with a small laugh.

"Thank you so much for everything Bruno," Raven says before placing a kiss on the old man's cheek.

We walked out the diner hand in hand with our lunches Bruno packed it for us to take away

'I swear, I won't let you' I vowed to myself .
