Chapter 14

Antonio's POV
As I drove away from the hospital, I couldn't stop the tears flowing.

If some people saw what state I'm in right now they would probably laugh at me.

But a real man with emotions will cry over someone they care about with all their heart.

Slowly approaching Raven's house, I'm really conflicted about telling her that we are going to be the parents of now dead best friend's daughter.

I know that Raven loves kids and me telling her this news might come shockingly to her.

I pulled up to her driveway and got out the car walking towards the door and pressed the bell.

"Hey, Toni what are you doing here?" Raven opened the door and stepped aside for me to enter into her cozy abode.

"I bet you weren't expecting a visit from your loving Fiancé" I turned around with a smug smirk on my face.

Raven smiled shyly and looked away avoiding eye contact.

"It's not that you didn't call or inform me of you coming over" Raven replied walking around me.

"Toni is something alright you don't look well, were you crying?" Raven walks closer to me and rested her soft hands on my cheek.

I looked away from her "No nothing is alright, I got a call from a close friend of mine that I lost contact with years ago and she told me to visit her and in the hospital and she had a Brain Tumor, and the reasons why she'd left years ago. Then she made promise something to her and after that, she died in my arms" I broke down by the time I was done explaining.

Raven leads me to the closest couch and hugged me tightly in a comforting way
"May I please know the promise you made to her?" Raven asks me quietly.

I nodded and I told her about Angela wanting me to adopt her daughter, Amelia, by the time I was done I was scared to face Raven.

I looked up to see Raven smiling widely and I tilted my head in confusion.

"You're okay with us adopting Amelia" She gasped placing her hand on her chest.

"Of course, I am you know I love kids and I would want nothing more than to give that little girl a home with loving parents which is gonna be us" I pulled Raven into my lap in a straddling position.

"What did I do in my past life to get such an amazing understanding woman like yourself," I said in a matter of fact voice.

Raven giggles and smirked "You're just one of the lucky ones" She pressed her luscious lips to mine.

"So, we got plans to fulfill" I was confused.
"Oh Toni why are you so dumb? We need a new car a family sized one and a new home since we are getting married and your condo is not a place to build a family and my house is too little for our future" My eyes widen when I realized what Raven was saying.

"You really thought about this, baby you're the best!" She's grinned widely at me.

"But before we do anything let's go get our princess" Raven jumps out of my lap.

"Yes ma'am" I saluted.

"Oh stop with the silliness and instead of ma'am I prefer "yes mistress" Raven turns to me.

I chuckled and stepped closer and closer to her until she's all caged up on the door.

"Only if you call me Daddy when I thrust into your love box fucking you into oblivion and the only name you'll be screaming" I nibbled and bit her neck sensually.
