"Ugh he totally fancies her," Tracy wrinkled her nose as Hagrid gave Maxime a little bow as he took his seat.

Estella smiled, shaking her head teasingly. "I think it's rather sweet."

Blaise snorted, smoothing his tie. "Speak for yourself Blackwood."

Estella rolled her eyes playfully but turned to face the front of the Great Hall, trying to ignore the nervous bubble in her stomach. The cup was going to select the Triwizard champions tonight and she couldn't help feeling unease. Something was wrong.

Dumbledore stood and the students immediately stopped talking, also anxious to hear the results. The Headmaster beamed. "I will not make you wait much longer, as I'm sure you are all excited to know our champions." He paused. "Even those of you who were unable to enter."

"Boo!" Fred and George banged their goblets in protest. "OUTRAGE!"

Estella smiled at their antics, tempering the age potion they had attempted, which had resulted in them growing rather successful gray beards.

Dumbledore chuckled and nodded. "Still it is time for the goblet to select the TRIWIZARD CHAMPIONS!"

The whole hall watched in anticipation as the goblet of fire flowed red and a piece of parchment exploded out with a pop, floating down gently. Dumbledore caught it with ease and smiled.

"The champion for Durmstrang is... VICTOR KRUM!"

The Durmstrang boys burst into cheers and applause, clapping a satisfied looking Krum on the back. Karkaroff applauded fiercely, looking rather pleased.

"The star seeker," Tracy sighed enviously. "Of course he won, rather attractive piece of Bulgaria."

Draco snorted. "My father almost sent me to Durmstrang, said the Hogwarts curriculum was rubbish."

"And then he realized you were too soft," Estella grinned, watching Krum.

"Shut it Blackwood," Draco snapped as Dumbledore grabbed another paper from the air.

"The champion from Beauxbatons.. FLEUR DELACOUR!"

The French students burst into polite claps, while the Hogwarts boys gave a few whistles as a slim blonde girl stood and made her way to the front.

Estella watched Dumbledore in nervousness as the goblet of fire flowed red once more and the third name flew out. Hogwarts waited with bated breath.

"And the third champion.. from Hogwarts.." Dumbledore peered over his spectacles. "CEDRIC DIGGORY!"

The Hufflepuff table burst into cheers as the seventh year stood, flashing them a charming smile.

"Oooo.. now that one is VERY attractive," Tracy emphasized, smoothing her hair.

"Can't say I disagree," Estella agreed, watching the brunette boy as he left the hall.

"Of course you'd like him," Draco grumbled, stabbing his fork moodily.

Tracy straightened "You're just jealous," she retorted, smoothing her robes. "And.."

She was cut off as the goblet roared to life once more. The whole castle watched in shock as a fourth parchment floated through the air.

Dumbledore caught it warily, frowning a bit behind his spectacles. As he read the name, Estella watched him stiffen ever so slightly. "HARRY POTTER."

Estella bit her cheek hard and drew blood as she turned to look at the boy, along with the rest of the hall. He was extremely pale and she shuddered. How did this happen?
