"We're so close!" The lanky blonde, emo looking boy said.
"I'd be more excited if it wasn't ten thousand degrees outside. How are you even wearing that jumper?" The slightly taller kiwi friend replied.
"Cause my mom put everything else in the wash. Trust me i'm sweating under this."
The security guard in from of the building turned to the boys.
"Alright, you're up. Someone inside will direct you to him."
Luke internally screams, as his friend Calum just sighs relief of finally getting some cool air.
Luke and Calum walked inside an was immediately met up with another guard.
"He's just waiting to finish with the first pair."
Luke nodded too excited to speak.
"Oh my god. I see him!" He squeezes Calum's arm.
"Yeah yeah, this better be worth it."
It was only a few seconds later they were excoriated to the entrance.
"Calum, I cant go in there. I look awful! He'll think i'm ugly. Ashton Irwin is only a few feet away from me." Luke panicked.
"Luke, You'll be fine. He'll probably forget you even met. All celebrities are like that you know. The fans are only important for their wallets and popularity." Calum groaned to his friend. He did not want to be here at all.
But Lukes heart dropped.
Was it true? After all of this would the person he adored for years will just be a one time meet, and he'll be forgotten almost instantly.
"No that can't be true." Luke thought. "He's different, I can feel it"
Time was up and it was their turn.
Luke was shaking like a leaf. And Calum could give two shits if he tried.
The towering dirty blonde man awaited for the two boys. He almost instantly knew the small blonde boy was nervous.
"Come on." He moves his arms to Luke to come closer.
Luke slowly made his way over and hugged Ashton. Taking in every moment he could.
"Holy crap, i've wanted to meet you for so long, I've been a fan for a while and i didn't think this would happen." Luke rambled to mainly himself.
"You want a picture?" Ashton asked nicely, once they moved apart.
Luke nodded and waved to Calum to come into the picture.
Calum rolled his eyes and made his way over anyway, just wanting to leave.
They got into the order with Ashton being in the middle of the two smaller boys.
As the picture was being taking, Luke felt something move near his backside. His eyes widened a little bit at the movement.
They all pulled apart and chatted up a bit together.
"So are you a fan?" Ashton asked Calum.
"I've heard a few songs, mainly because of him." He pointed to Luke, who starts blushing. "But other than that not really. I mean you got good stuff, but he dragged me over here."
"Calum!" Luke screeched.
"I take no offense to that. But what about you? You've been shaking since before you even got over here." Ashton joked.
"Uh- yeah i've been a fan for a while." Luke mumbled.
Ashton smiles "I think it's cute. Just like you."
Luke is shocked by the statement. He opens his mouth to say something but says nothing.
"So you do have anything for me to sign?" Ashton asked.
Luke nodded. He got one a random piece of paper from his bag. He should've been more prepared for this.
Ashton takes the paper and starts writing.
When he's done he gives Luke the paper.
"Don't open it till you leave." He whispers.
Luke stays still. But Ashton takes his silence as an agreement.
Soon enough the security guard comes by and says that time is up for the boys.
"Thank you guys for coming out. Hopefully i'll see you again soon." Ashton said and winked at Luke.
"Uh- yeah. Definitely! Thank you!" Luke response.
They waved goodbye to each other and then they left the room.
Calum exhaled. "Alright you had your fun. Let's go home."
Luke looks behind him and sees Ashton with another group of people, this time a bunch of teenage girls.
He frowned as he walked next to Calum heading their way to the car.
The drive back wasn't too exciting. Just Luke repeatedly saying how hot Ashton was and that he missed him. Then he got sad everytime he said he missed the boy he only interacted with for only a few minutes.
When Calum dropped him off at his home, he dragged himself inside.
"How was the meet and greet?" Lukes mom entered.
He smiled slightly at the image of Ashton.
"It was great, he was really nice and sweet."
"Well, i'm glad you had a good time. Your clothes are done, I put them in your room. Change out of that jumper, it's too hot for that." She reminded him.
Luke nodded and made his way to his room.
Then he remembered the paper Ashton signed
He has to hang it up!
He rummaged through his bag and found the paper.
"Don't open it till you leave."
What did he mean by that?
He opened the paper and couldn't believe what was said.
"It was great meeting you cutie. I'll be in Syndney for a few more days. Call me?"

And at the bottom was his number.
He couldn't believe it. The Ashton Irwin gave him his number. And called him cutie? twice in one day?!
Luke got out his phone and started typing the number.
Little does he know of what would come of this.
