All three test were positive.
Are me and Ashton ready for another baby?
We can't afford another baby.
We can barely afford with our 2 year old, Thomas around.
But I can't get an abortion.
Ashton is going to hate me.
"Babe are you okay in there?" I hear Ashton ask from the other side of the door.
I scramble all of the test and put them in my back pocket.
"Uh, yeah I'm fine. I'll be out in a second."
I opened up the door seeing Ashton worried.
"Are you alright?" He asked
I hesitated. "How would you feel about another baby?"
Ashtons eyes went wide.
"Babe we can't afford another baby. I'm sorry. When we get better jobs, and Thomas is a bit older, then maybe we can try."
I felt like crying my eyes out but I went along with it.
I guess this will be my little secret.1 week later
It's been a week since I found out I was pregnant, and I haven't told Ash yet.
Right now Thomas and I were watching SpongeBob on the tv. The entire time he kept babbling about how adorable sponge bob is."Babe, can you come here a second?" Ashton calls from the other room.
I took Thomas off my lap and made my way to Ashton.
When I saw him, he had the two out of three pregnancy test I took.
I thought I threw away.
"What the hell are these?" He asked angrily.
"Surprise?"
He looked like he was going to punch me in the face.
"We aren't ready for a baby! Abort the damn thing!"
I shook my head.
"I'm not getting rid of the baby. We can do this I promise."
"It's either you abort that damn mistake, or I'm leaving."
Tears weld in my eyes.
"No please-"
"Abort it!"
"Go leave you asshole. I can raise my kids by myself!"
Ash stomped his way out of the house, not looking back.
And he was gone.
I couldn't help but fall to the ground and sob.
"Momma?" I hear Thomas from behind me.
"I'm sorry baby boy." I held him close to me, never letting go.
"Where's daddy?" He asked.
"He's not coming back baby boy. It's just going to be you, me, and your little brother or sister."
He gasped.
"Baby!" He smiled.
"Yes there's gonna be another baby in the house."
He stood up and started dancing around the room cheering "baby, baby, baby"
"There's one thing. You have to be good okay. Now that daddy isn't around we need to work a lot harder okay. Even if we end up homeless. You have to be good."
He nodded his head."I be good momma. I promise."
