Yoongi grabs his keys from the hook. "Bye Holly," he whispers to the little sleeping dog as he steps out of the apartment. They had just come back from a walk. After some water and food for both of them, Holly was napping and Yoongi was off to work.
It had been about a week since he'd started his new job at the Sugar Bunny Café. The name was a bit odd to Yoongi, but when he asked about its origin, he only received an answer of laughter. Jin told him it was a long story.
So he had decided to stay out of it. The boys obviously already had a strong bond together. Yoongi doesn't want to disrupt that.
~~~
The door chimes as Yoongi enters the café.
"Hey, Yoongs!" Exclaimes Hoseok from behind the counter.
"What did you just call me?" asks Yoongi, stopping his movements to stare at the boy momentarily.
Hoseok sighs, "You need a nickname. Everyone already has one, except you!" He pouts and rests his head on his hand.
Yoongi stares at the ground.
"No thanks," he says, looking back after a moment.
Hoseok pouts more. Then, with a look of determination on his face, he says "Min Yoongi, if it's the last thing I do I will give you a nickname!"
Yoongi shakes his head and laughs a little, walking back to the kitchen to start working.
He's met with a frustrated looking Jungkook, who's stacking some packages and boxes up in the corner of the room.
"What are those?" Yoongi asks, pointing to the stacks.
Jungkook turns, "Oh, Yoongi-Hyung, thank goodness." He walks over, wiping his hands on his apron. "We just got a new shipment of ingredients this morning but they weren't supposed to come until tomorrow! Jin-hyung isn't here today and, I'm pretty strong, but there's a lot to move and we still need to cook for the customers, and--" he stops abruptly as Yoongi puts up a hand.
"You can cook by yourself, right?" He asks.
Jungkook nods hesitantly. "As long as I don't let anything stick to the plate." He says, laughing a bit and rubbing his nape.
Yoongi shrugs, "Then I'll do it, you cook and bake that way we don't fall behind and I'll get these moved to the storage room."
Jungook's eyes sparkle as he looks at Yoongi. "Really, Hyung? Are you sure? It's a lot."
Yoongi sighs and just pushes Jungkook to the side gently, moving towards the boxes. "Yes I'm sure now go start cooking, I already saw some orders coming in."
Jungkook straightens, hurrying back to the stove. "Thanks, Hyung!" He calls out over his shoulder.
Yoongi begins moving the many packages before him.
~~~
After about two hours, Yoongi had moved most of the boxes. Only the pounds of flour and sugar remained. Now, he's taking a short break on the floor next to the remaining packages. He checks the time, it had only been about 15 minutes but Yoongi knows he should just finish the job.
He gets up, picking up a few pounds of sugar.
"Crap," he said to himself, "these just had to go on the damn top shelf?" He sets the pound bags down and grabs a step ladder, grumbling about how the height of things were just mocking him at this point.
As he begins to stack the bags onto the shelf, Jungkook bursts into the door.
"Hyung look!"
Yoongi flinches at the sudden noise and shout.
He loses his balance.
The bag drops.
Yoongi gets dizzy for a second. His vision becomes blurry.
The last thing he hears is Jungkook's yell.
