Yoongi unhooks the leash from the collar on Holly's neck. He decided to bring him to a park so he could run free for a while. Immediately, the little dog started sniffing around on the ground.
Yoongi sits against the big oak tree above him. It's thick trunk surprisingly comfortable against his back. He leans his head against it and closes his eyes, taking a deep breath of fresh air. It feels amazing. After being cooped up in college dorms and classes for so long, he forgot how breathtaking nature could be. Yoongi opens his eyes to look around for Holly, he's currently playing with some of the other dogs in a game of what looks like it could be Tag. Yoongi grins and pulls his bag onto his lap, taking out his new camera and equipment.

"Ughhhh no! That's not good either!" Yoongi deletes the picture in an angered haste.
He'd been trying to take pictures for the past hour. However nothing seemed to be good enough. He'd tried taking pictures of everything. Trees, squirrels, grass; he'd even tried taking pictures of ants that were crawling in a line near his feet. However, the only pictures he had managed to take that weren't completely horrible, were ones of Holly. He planned to frame and hang those in his dorm later.
Sighing in frustration, Yoongi plops back down under the big oak tree. Holly had tired out a few minutes ago and was now sleeping next to his frustrated owner. Yoongi rubs his little head and smiles a bit, leaning his head back against the tree once more. He closes his eyes, deciding to take a small nap along with his furry companion.
Suddenly, he feels something hit his cheek. Opening his eyes with a squint, he looks up into the thick leaves of the tree. Another small object lands on his shoulder. He picks it up and examines it. It looks like a small piece of bark. Standing, Yoongi looks up at the tree to see what the source of the falling wood could be.
What he sees is not expected.
Yoongi's eyes are wide as he stares at the most beautiful bird he's ever seen.
Its feathers are a look softer than silk. Its colors, despite only having three, are royal and elegant. Its head is round and tucked into its body, the beak is sharp and black; as are its eyes. The top of the bird's beautiful head is crested with black, and its face and belly are a white that looks too clean to be in a tree. The black on its head runs in front of the bird's eyes and down its neck stopping halfway, as if it were wearing a helmet. The blue that covers the rest of the creature's body is deep and shiny.
Perfect.
He quickly sets up his equipment to face the tree, and aims his camera upwards. The bird, meanwhile, begins to stretch and flap its wings.
Wow.
Yoongi quickly focuses his lens and places his finger on the button, waiting for the perfect moment. He wanted to catch the wings when they were spread.
Not yet...Not yet...Not yet...Now!
Yoongi snaps a photo but the flash must have scared the bird because it takes off, flying and perching in a different tree nearby. Behind him, Yoongi hears a small yelp and a thump. His eyes had been trained on the bird in its flight, and the sudden sounds made him jump and hug his camera. Holly wakes and stands. His body close to Yoongi's as he growls lowly at something behind Yoongi.
"Aish..." exclaims a female voice.
Yoongi turns to see a girl struggling to lift her body up off the ground. She has long brown hair that sports a few leaves and twigs in it at the moment. Her possibly once white shirt is presently covered in dust and dirt.
Where did she come from?
"Um...are you alright?" Yoongi asks.
The stranger sits up, holding her head.
"Yeah, just great. I fall out of trees all the time, no big deal," she says sarcastically, shrugging a shoulder to enhance her facetiousness.
Ah. So that's where.
Her eyes meet his. Yoongi goes to offer her a hand, which she blatantly refuses, pushing herself up from the ground. Yoongi takes a step back. She picks up a sketchbook and a small bag. The strange girl stands straight, looking past a very confused Yoongi to a tree in the distance.
"Damn it, I was almost finished this time." She shakes her head to herself and starts away.
Yoongi promptly grabs her wrist, quickly releasing it after realizing his actions. The girl turns to him with a questioning, and rather challenging, look in her eyes. The growl from Holly returns and the girl glances down at him.
Yoongi gulps. He wasn't one to be intimidated but damn. This girl just fell out of a tree and got up like nothing even happened. And Yoongi was sure he'd heard a pop or something.
"Uh, I...um.." He stutters, not only confusing himself but the girl before him as well.
"Well, spit it out then," she says, putting a hand on her hip.
"I-I just...wanted to make sure you were alright, those branches aren't exactly close to the ground. You could be hurt." He explains, gesturing to the tall tree above them.
The girl scoffs. "Why should you care? I'll have you know I am perfectly fine, thank you very much." She begins to walk away, but Yoongi notices small dips in her figure as she walks. He looks down to her feet and what he sees is rather contradicting to her last statement.
No matter how hard this girl may have been trying to hide it, she was limping.
Yoongi smirks and begins to walk next to her, hands behind his back.
"You know, it's bad to walk on an injury."
She looks at him with a scowl. "Screw off, I said I'm fine." She looks back ahead, lifting her chin.
This causes Yonngi to frown. He speeds up and stops in front her abruptly.
"Hey, I'm serious. You're hurt, come on I'll help you to the--"
She doesn't give him a chance to finish before holding up a hand.
"Listen. I've tried to be polite--"
Yoongi doesn't necessarily agree with that...
"But I would appreciate it if you left me alone. I have already said this multiple times, but I'll say it once more. I. Am. Fine...Please go away." She smiles wryly and trudges past him.
Yoongi doesn't turn to watch her go, but another smirk plays across his face as he hears another thump behind him.
