^Third Person*
Back at the dorms, class 1-A kept pondering over the question that lingered in their minds. Just what happened to Izuku? The greenette was happily watching a movie on the lounge with Ejirou and Tokoyami, resting his head on Ejirou's shoulder.
"Mid-"
"Don't," Katsuki cut Tenya off. "Don't f*cking say anything, got it?"
"But why?" Ochaco asked.
"It's better if you don't know. For both you and him. I don't suggest you make him relive those memories." Katsuki replied, a hint of guilt evident in his eyes.
He walked off, back to his dorm room. As he left, everyone became more curious to what happened. But also afraid that something might happen if they get Izuku to tell them. They're worried for them friend. An hour past and Izuku has fallen asleep. Ejirou decided to take him back to his dorm. Picking the greenette up on his back, he walked off. Taking the elevator up to the fourth floor, he waited. It finally opened and allowed him to head over to Izuku's room. Opening it, he entered and turned the light on. So much All Might! Ejirou placed Izuku in his bed and pulled the covers over him. Since Izuku was asleep, Ejirou took that chance to look around for any clues.
'Let's see if he has a diary or something.' He thought, searching through the books on his shelves.
Eyes scanning over, he trailed over to the 'Hero Analysis for the Future' section. There were 14! He sat down and took out the first one, flipping through the pages. There was so much information on all different kinds of heroes. When he got to the last few pages, he found that all of them had been filled with facts about All Might. A smile formed on Ejirou's face as he closed it and took out the second one. More info on different heroes. He kept going through till he reached the thirteenth. That cover was burnt and falling apart. His smile turned to a frown as he stared at the cover.
'Who would do this?'
He flipped through, seeing info on Katsuki. He read over it all before flipping to the next page. An All Might signature. That was the last thing in there. Or, what was meant to be the last. Flipping to the final page, Ejirou stared wide-eyed at what he was reading. Covering his mouth as he let out a silent gasp, he turned his head to Izuku.
'What the hell...'
A sudden realisation clicked in his head. He grabbed all the books before the thirteenth one and grabbed a notepad and pen. There was a message hidden in the names. The specific order he put it in. He dropped the note as he stared down at the message written.
'I am nothing. Useless. Meaningless. Worthless. No one will ever want me. My own mother gave up on me. I'm broken. Drowning. Falling farther away. Someone... anyone... help me...'
"Izuku..." Ejirou murmured, tears pricking his eyes as he walked over to the sleeping greenette. "Why didn't you say anything..."
Ejirou traced a hand down Izuku's cheek, watching as a peacefulness spread across his face. He took his hand away and decided to check the drawers. Looking through the 3rd drawer, he found a little case in the back. He grabbed it, opening it up. He almost dropped the case, seeing pill bottles and bloody razors. He closed the case swiftly, gagging a little. He took the case and grabbed the books and note before leaving the room. He ran down the stairs and into the living quarters, startling a few of his classmate.
"What's wrong, Kirishima?" Momo asked as Ejirou caught his breath.
He walked over to a table and set everything down. He opened the case and tipped everything out, hearing a lot of gasps from his surrounding classmates. He ripped out the note and slammed it down, turning to face everyone with tears in his eyes.
"Look at all this!" He started, gaze trailing across all his shocked friends. "Look at what's happened. He's felt so much pain all these years. Yet he hasn't consulted any of us. He's been going through so much and he still smiles everyday."
"D-Deku-kun..." Ochaco murmured, covering her mouth as her tears flowed down.
"He's been through so much sh*t, just to reach one goal. And he's still fighting for it. There must be something we can do to help him." Ejirou's voice started to crack as he spoke.
Everyone looked at each other, nodding in agreement. Ejirou wiped his eyes as a determined look spread across his face.
"We still need to figure out what happened to him to cause this. Once we know that, we'll come up with some ways to help him." Tenya said.
"It's not gonna be that easy." Shouto murmured.
"We can still try!" Denki exclaimed.
The group started coming up with ways to break through Izuku's shell, unknown to them that said greenette was listening in to their conversation. He silently headed back upstairs to his room, laying down flat on his bed covers. He rested his arm over his eyes as tears streamed down his cheeks.
"They actually care about me... they want to help me..." he murmured, moving his arm as he stared up at the white roof.
