taehyung and seokjin had both decided that it was finally time that they both go out and get groceries together. this of course after they got sick of the only food the town had to offer at their small restaurants.

so, taehyung and seokjin talked about their relationships with the other people and there lived, and it was peaceful. mainly it was just seokjin talking about hoseok though, but taehyung briefly explained his and jungkook's odd spot in their relationship at the moment.

"if i see him again anytime soon i definitely want to ask him on a date so we can get to know each other better. i think it'd be beneficial to slow things down but still have a relationship, you know?" seokjin nodded at what taehyung said, agreeing with his methods. he and hoseok had somewhat done the same, but still at a pretty fast pace.

the walked down the road covered in stores owned by people like them. people with dreams to have a store where they could share what they loved. but their small town wasn't very popular. thinking maybe it would be was always a hope in each owner's eyes and kept them all going.

the turned into the store and decided on essentials to get to have some good food. seokjin took the wheel, as he mainly cooked for him and taehyung. But taehyung still made sure to pitch in his suggestions, as at times he was a pretty picky eater.

"how does hoseok feel about us living together?" taehyung asked suddenly as he pulled some mac and cheese off of the shelf and studied it, but quickly put it back after seeing the ingredients.

"he's okay with it, i guess. i'm just worried about what we'll both do when we've decided to move in with our significant others." it was a thought the both of them always dreaded thinking about, living away from each other.

they stopped the sad conversation and walked around the store again. taehyung eyes quickly caught onto the alcohol section but seokjin hit the back of his head yelling a loud, "yah" in the process which embarrassed taehyung greatly, so he stopped.

they had finished looking around and were both satisfied with what they picked out so the headed to the checkout line.

what they did not expect to see was jungkook sitting on a counter at the checkout in a deep conversation with namjoon.

"oh, hey seokjin. hey tae!" namjoon shouted enthusiastically while wiggling his eyebrows at jungkook.

namjoon knew how much jungkook likes taehyung and how he was starting to regret his choice of deciding to take it slow. it was just jungkook's luck that they decided to show up to the store that day when namjoon had also dragged jungkook to his work as well. obviously, it was pretty late at night, or else taehyung wouldn't be out and namjoon wouldn't be at work. jungkook was scared sleeping alone for some reason that night, and now he was almost passed out on the counter, trying to hold onto his conversation desperately.

jungkook yawned cutely when he saw taehyung, and his eyes widened into a perfect circle shape.

"aww, you're so cute, bunny," taehyung flirted cheekily. he still wasn't over what happened a few days ago, he would keep fawning over jungkook.

seokjin rolled his eyes at taehyung's manners and hit his back as he went to talk with namjoon.

taehyung cleared his throat and approached jungkook.

"i just want to apologize by how i've been acting towards you lately. i don't really have an excuse, i'm just scared you might lose interest in me if i try to go any slower." seokjin turned around, raising an eyebrow. was taehyung really sacrificing his pride for jungkook? seokjin laughed a little and turned back to namjoon who was in the middle of talking about physics.

jungkook nodded and motioned for taehyung to go on. they both laughed at his actions and he continued.

"i was wondering if maybe you wanted to go on a date with me so we could slow things down and actually get to know things about each other. maybe i could show you some of my tattoos!" taehyung ended enthusiastically, already loving the idea.

"i'd love to go on a date with you, taehyung," jungkook said sincerely, nodded his head. "But maybe we should save your tattoos for another day."

"oh, of course, of course." taehyung nodded and grinned widely, like an absolute fool. seokjin couldn't stop himself from laughing at taehyung ridiculous actions and he started to let out windshield-wiper like sounds. soon the whole store was erupting in laughter. taehyung quickly finished the details of their date and he rushed out of the store in embarrassment, dragging seokjin along with him.

-

taehyung had been pacing back and forth in his bedroom in front of the mirror. he was considering taking out a piercing of his. he was also stressing about what to wear.

"i want my tattoos to look good so he can touch my arms and shit, but like, none of this looks good on me!" taehyung pouted cutely, tucking his pierced lip into his mouth.

"you're piercings are part of you. besides, i think jungkook finds them hot. i saw him staring at your lips yesterday while biting his own."

taehyung rolled his eyes and got started on actually trying on clothes.

he and jungkook didn't want to go somewhere super nice, just somewhere decent.

seokjin pulled out some ripped jeans for taehyung and a goofy printed shirt he knew taehyung would love.

"yes! that's perfect seokjin, thank you." he tried on the clothes and was for once satisfied.

he spun around giggling like a school-girl and seokjin continued to laugh at him.

"do my tattoos look hot?"

"the hottest tae," seokjin replied, sticking out his tongue.

"i'm going on a date with hobi tomorrow if you want to help me get ready then too." nodding enthusiastic taehyung yelled yes and they danced around before seokjin kicked taehhung out of the house to go get jungkook.

"go get your mans and woo him so hard he'll shit himself!"

"that's not the message i'm going for but thanks anyway!"
