Janis was your everything. She was your knight in shining armor, your sun on the darkest days, the one who made you smile when no one else could. She was always there for you.

But sometimes she had to be put in her place.

Cady Heron arrived at North Shore naive and in need of help. You and your friends were not slow to welcome her. She seemed grateful that somebody was finally talking to her, even if Damian and Janis had confronted her in the girl's bathroom.

The rest of your Junior year was supposed to be filled with completely ordinary fun. You would spend your nights in Damien's garage, watching scary movies, cuddled close to Janis. There was a new mission to help Cady learn how to live a normal teenage life, but that couldn't change much. Nothing dramatic or over the top would happen.

The Plastics have other plans.

You saw the wheels turning in Janis' brain even before Cady had come back after Regina cornered her. You knew that look. It wasn't one that you saw often, but it was familiar nonetheless. It was the same look she got when had figured out how she was going to ask you out to last year's Spring Fling. It was the same scheming smirk and spark of mischief in her eye when she told you her plan to egg and TP Regina George's House.

"What are you thinking?" You asked, not quite sure if you wanted the answer.

"I'm thinking," Janis' grin grew, "That eggs and toilet paper were just the beginning."

It was harmless at first and you went along with it. It wasn't until the Halloween party that things truly started to turn sour.

"She kissed him," Cady explained, slightly teary-eyed. "I never thought she'd betray me like that."

"That's because she's a life ruiner," Janis growled. "We need to get back at her for this."

You looked up, slightly shocked at the obvious anger in her voice. "What?"

"Somebody needs to put Regina in her place," Janis elaborated further.

"Isn't that what we've been doing?" You asked in bewilderment.

Janis jumped to her feet, leaving the spot next to you cold where she had once been. "No, that's child's play. A small vengeance get together."

You crinkled your nose "A what?"

"That was barely doing any damage." Janis shrugged. "What we need to throw is much bigger. A revenge party, if you will."

Once again, you looked on with a puzzled expression. "Can you please explain what you talking about."

Janis shot you a sly grin before turning to Cady. "We are your friends, not them. We've got your back. And we," She gestured to you and Damian, "Are going to make her pay."

Damian sprang up from the other side of the couch. The look on his face told you that he was willing to do anything Janis said. "This is gonna be awesome."

Cady looked as just confused as you did, although, that could just be the ghastly white makeup and oversized teeth stuck in her mouth.

Janis waved a hand in front of her as if she was presenting a magnificent statue. "First, you need to pretend like you still like them. You can do that, right?"

She only hesitated a moment. "Yeah, I guess."

"Good." Janis wrapped her other arm around Cady's shoulders. "Because you need to stay close to them for part two of our plan."

"And what's that?" You questioned.

Damian slipped to Cady's other side with his arm sticking out to complete Janis' picture. "Taking away Regina's only accomplishment-"

"Being a hot person." Janis finished his sentence in a way that seemed rehearsed.

"Guys-" You tried to talk them down, but you were instantly silenced.

"Do you still have those Kaltine bars?" Damian asked.

Cady nodded. "My Mom keeps them all over the house."

"Perfect," Janis responded giddily. "Tell her that they'll help her lose weight. When she starts gaining-"

"Doesn't this seem a little cruel?" You interrupted, speaking considerably louder than before, knowing that Janis would continue to talk over you if you were quiet.

Janis turned to you slowly. "What Regina did to me was cruel, wasn't it?"

You suddenly realized how insensitive you must have sounded. You opened your mouth to explain. "Janis, that's not what-"

"What did Regina do to you?"

It was Cady, innocent as ever. You couldn't blame her for not knowing; Janis kept her secret under a heavy lock and key.

"Oh, it was terrible."

"Damian," Janis hissed.

"No," Damian insisted, "She needs to know."

Janis turned her glare to you. You gestured for her to come cuddle next to you. She stared for a moment longer, but her cold demeanor melted away quickly. She trotted over to you and let you wrap your arms around her.

"It was the eighth grade," Damien began his story dramatic as always. "And Regina and Janis were best friends."

He told the story in full detail and as he finished it, Janis began to chuckle sarcastically. "It isn't even true. I only have one butt."

You pressed your head into her neck, knowing full well that the jokes were just a facade.

"I'm so sorry, Janis," Cady said, her voice soft and caring. Nothing like the voice of a Plastic.

Janis looked up, a forced grin on her face. "So, how about that revenge party?"
