The rest of the assembly and school day for that matter was a blur. A total blur where I didn't pay attention in class and spaced out when Jug tried to have a conversation with me. Pea, Jug, and I walked home like every other day. When we got to the trailer, no one was home, so Sweet Pea went to hang with Fangs leaving Jug and I home alone.

I went to the kitchen to find some tea or something to calm my mind down with. I steamed some water on the stove and made some vanilla tea. My favorite tea. I walked out to the living room where Jughead had been sitting. he was on the couch and staring blankly at the wall.

"Jug, you okay?" I asked him, he nodded. I went back to the kitchen to retrieve my tea off the stove. I turned the stove off and went to the living room. Trying to take my mind off of the assembly. I sat down beside Jug, who was now writing away on his laptop.

"Why have you been acting this way?" Jughead asked me.

"Look I saw something at the assembly."

"What'd you see?"

"I saw Betty at the assembly." I said slowly while looking down at the ground.

"Of course you saw Betty, there were pictures of her everywhere." I lightly chuckled in my head about Jughead's stupidity.

"No, Jug. I saw her, she was sitting beside you, had her arms wrapped around your neck when I was about to sit down after speaking."

"Peanut, I think you need to get more sleep at night." He said in a serious tone.

"Jug, I know what I saw." I furrowed my brows, beginning to be frustrated with my boyfriend.

"Peanut, I'm sorry but I just can't believe you." He said as he went back to typing on his laptop. My eyes burned with hot tears threatening to spill.

I got up and started walking to the bedroom and slammed the door behind me. Why would Jughead do that? I'm terrified by this, regardless if I was just exhausted or not. I put my tea on the bedside table and sat down on my side of the bed, bringing my knees to my head, cradling myself. The tears won their battle and started spilling down my cheeks. I started taking deep breaths as I sat there, trying to calm myself down.

I fell to my side, facing the side of the bed that Pea always slept in. No new tears flowing out of my eyes as I stared at the dents in the sheets from Pea. That's when an idea came to mind; why don't I just talk to Pea about this? He'll believe me, won't he?

I got off my bed and searched for my phone in my backpack. I found my phone and sent Pea a text message.

To Pea: Pea? Can u come home?

From Pea: What's wrong? I'll be there in a second.

I couldn't help but smile at the kindness of my brother. How'd I get so lucky to have him? I heard the sound of a motorcycle engine turning off towards the front of the trailer. I heard heavy footsteps coming from the trailer and I knew for a fact that those footsteps belonged to Pea. Good thing was that I didn't hear any conversing from Pea and Jughead. The bedroom door opened and I couldn't control more tears from leaking out of my eyes.

Pea's blurry figure came walking in and locked the door behind him. I fidgeted with my fingers, trying desperately to keep it together, with bad thoughts racing through my mind, what if he doesn't believe me, either?

I felt the bed dip as he laid beside me and brought me to his chest with one arm around my shoulders as he rubbed my back with his free hand. I clutched his black and white flannel with my limp hands. Pea shifted so we were laying on the bed, me still positioned practically on top of him.
