I walked through the trailer door. No one was around. I went to the kitchen to make myself some tea when arms wrapped themselves around my waist. Jughead.

"There's my girl!" Jughead cheered. Picking me up slightly and swinging me around.

"Hey Jug." I said as he put my down. Realization of what I have to do slowly shattering my heart.

"Hey, where were you last night?"

"Had a sleepover with Sabrina."

"Ah, how about the fight? How'd it all end? That's a bit fuzzy."

"Oh, um, we won, killed some Ghoulies, and Hiram Lodge."

"That's awesome. Heard Archie died, the town just keeps getting darker, huh?"

"You can say that again." I said as I poured some steamed water into a mug.

"This town just keeps getting darker." I rolled my eyes.

"You seem happy today." I turned to look at him with a small smile.

"Well the doctors said that I survived by a small percent. Almost like magic." He chuckled, I tightened up.

"Yeah, almost like magic." I said as I put a tea bag into my mug.

"Doctors said I should've died with the injuries I miraculously survived."

"Wow, well I'm glad that you're still here to tell the story."

"I am too, gotta enjoy the small things."

"It's the best way to live." I smiled, before sitting down across from him at the kitchen table.

"Anyways, I got some news, you may not like it." I bit my lip, waiting for him to go on.

"You're pregnant?" He said in a serious voice.

"No, not right now."

"You smoke?'

"God Jughead no!" I laughed.

"Then what is it?"

"I-um, I got into a college on the East side of the country."

"But, you're only 15, even I'm too young for college."

"I'll be 16 next week, but you know I'm beyond average when it comes to academics."

I watched Jughead's expression change from joyful to distraught, I could tell he was indecisive about the situation, repeatign my news in his mind.

"Wow, you'll still be here for the rest of the year right? Like until summer?"

"Not quite, I got asked to go in two days for early admission."

"What kind of boyfriend would I be to hold you back from this? I'm happy for you, Peanut." He spoke genuinely, but I could tell that he was still indecisive about the situation, I would be too if the roles were reversed.

"You'll come for the holidays to visit, right?"

"Of course, Jug, I'm not just abandoning you guys." I chuckled.

He put his hand on the table and I reached my left hand to grab his, our silver rings clinking ever so lightly.

"Always."

"Always." I said, lifting my mug to my lips and welcoming the soothing vanilla drink into my mouth. I'm so glad that he understood and didn't ask any farther questions.

"I'll have to tell Pea and your dad, huh?" I looked down at the table.

"That would be the best option, unless you want to just pack and leave without saying goodbye."
