Different Chapter 12

Drew's POV

I woke up with Jess in my arms. She was drawing circles on my chest. I chuckled and. She looked up. "Oh finally you're awake."

"Yep. I need to go check on Lexi though." I said. I jumped up and ran into her room. When I went in there she was sound asleep. I walked over to the bed, kissed her head, and walked out closing the door behind me.

I went back into my room and Jess was in her bra and underwear. "Whatcha doin?" I asked scaring her.

"Damn. Don't do that." She whisper yelled.

"Sorry." I said laughing.

"It's not funny but can I borrow some clothes mine are in Lexi's room." She asked giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Sure." I grabbed her some sweatpants and shirt.

"Thank you." She mumbled.

"You're welcome." I replied. We got changed and went downstairs to grab breakfast.

Lexi's POV

I woke up and looked at my alarm clock seeing it was 10:00. I slept through the night for the first time since before I can remember. I walked down stairs and saw daddy. I ran and jumped into his open arms.

"Daddy, I didn't have any nightmares." I said excitedly.

"I know baby girl. I'm so happy for you." He said kissing the top of my head. "I love you, Lexi."

"I love you too, daddy."

I sat down and ate breakfast then we decided to go to the beach for a little bit.

When we came home from the beach daddy told me to take a shower. I slowly walked up the stair and got in the shower. Once I was done I got dressed and walked back down stairs.

"Daddy, can I sleep over Wesley's house?" I asked.

"I have to call him but why?" He asked.

"So you and Jessie can go on a date." I answered.

"You don't have to do that baby girl."

"Yes huh." I replied.

He chuckled at use of yes huh and went to go call Wesley. I sat and played with Rosie and Jessie. When he came back he was smiling.

"Wes said he would love for you to come over and stay the night." He told me.

"Is his pretty mom going to be there?" I asked.

"Yes and so is Keaton, Storm and Keaton's girlfriend, Ashlee." He replied. "So go pack a bag and come back down. I will take you as soon as you're done."

I ran upstairs and packed some clothes into a bag and grabbed my toothbrush. Once I was done I ran back down stairs and got daddy. We got in the car and drove to Wesley's. When we got there daddy opened the door and we walked in.

I saw Wesley standing in the corner of the room. "Wesley!" I yelled and ran into his open arms.

"Hi Lex." He said excitedly while hugging me back.

"Wesley where's your pretty mommy?" I asked pulling away.

"In the kitchen." He told me.

I ran into the kitchen and found her. "Pretty mommy S!" I yelled causing her to look over.

"Hi Lexi!" She yelled just as excited. "How are you?"

"Good. Guess what?" I asked.

"What?"

"Last night I didn't have any nightmares and I slept by myself."

"That's awesome honey." She said hugging me again. I walked back into the living room to say bye to daddy and hi to the other people.

"Bye daddy. I love you." I said reaching my arms up.

He picked me up and said "I love you too Lexi. Please be careful. Have fun." Daddy kissed the top of my head after putting me down and walked out.

"Okay Lex. What do you want to do?" Keaton asked me. I just shrugged. "Oh Lexi, this is my girlfriend Ashlee and this is Wesley's girlfriend Storm."

"Hi." I said shyly. "Hi Storm."

"Hey Lex." She said hugging me.

"Wesley, can we get ice cream?" I asked giving him the puppy dog eyes.

"Ugh. Fine but only because your dad isn't here to kill me. You know he hates when you eat it." He said rolling his eyes.

We started walking and Keaton and Ashlee were holding hands and flirting. I walked passed them while saying "You guys are nasty."

Wesley and Storm were crying because they were laughing so hard. "What's so funny?" I asked.

"You. We have told them that several times today but they only listened when you said it. Look." He said pointing to them. They weren't holding hands or talking anymore. I laughed with them.

"It wasn't that funny." Keaton mumbled.

That just made us laugh harder. By the time we reached the ice cream shop there were tears running down my face. We walked in and got ice cream.

I was running around the house because ice cream makes me hyper. "Now I know why your dad doesn't let you eat ice cream."

"Ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya." I said shaking my head up and down so hard my whole body moved too. I started running around some more. Everybody was cracking up even pretty mommy S.

Wesley was recording me. "I'm tired." I said and laid on the ground. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the floor. Literally.
