Different Chapter 21

Jess's POV

I woke up to the sound of the vacuum and laughing. I got up and went downstairs to see what all the noise was. I walked into the living room to see drew vacuuming and pretending to try and suck up Lexie's feet. I giggled and picked her up and ran as Drew chased us.

"Run Jessie. Run." Lexi yelled. I laughed and ran into the kitchen with her on my hip. Out of breath, Drew finally surrendered. I put Lexi down and started making myself a cup of coffee. "What time is your mom coming, daddy?"

"She should be here around 3." Lex nodded her head and took Rosie into the living room. "Morning babe." He said kissing my cheek.

I just smiled and said "Morning." I ate a waffle and and finished my coffee before starting to clean. The first thing I cleaned was Lexi's room because that was where she would be staying. I washed the sheets, dusted, vacuumed, and wiped everything down before moving to the bathroom. I cleaned everything in there and headed to the living room but Drew was already cleaning there so I went into the kitchen. I scrubbed everything down, did the dishes, and cleaned the floor. After that I went into the dining room to make sure everything was clean. I didn't have to clean much in there because we never go in there. Once I was done that I went to clean our room. I wasn't that messy because I tried to keep things pretty clean.

When I was done it was already 12:30 so I went to see what we were doing for lunch. I walked out the back door and saw Drew and Lexi running around with the puppy. Drew saw me and said "Oh hey. We came out here because we didn't want to mess up anything you just cleaned. Thank you for doing that by the way."

"No problem. I have two questions thought." I replied. He just nodded his head. "One what are we doing for lunch and two what are we doing for dinner because if you want me to cook I can but I'd have to run to the store."

"For lunch Lex and I just ordered a pizza and for dinner we can go out tonight and cook tomorrow so you don't have to go to the store today." He said.

"Alright. Do you want me to go pick up the pizza?" I asked.

"No I can do it. I have to pick something up from the store anyways. Lexi do you want to come with me or stay with Jessie?" He asked.

"Can't we all go? And daddy can we go see Wesley?" Drew looked over to me. I nodded my head saying I would go as well.

"Okay we can all go and I can see if he wants to come to dinner with us tonight." Lexi cheered and ran into the house. I followed her and grabbed my purse on the way to the front door. Drew came out after grabbing his keys and we all got in the car. The drive to the store consisted of all of us singing off key and laughing. We got to the store and ran inside.

We followed Drew to the candy isle and I gave him a look like we drove all the way here to buy candy? Really? He acted all innocent and said "What? I really wanted some Twizzlers." I just shook my head and looked down to talk to Lexi who was pulling on my arm.

"Can I get some candy Jessie?" She asked giving me her puppy dog eyes. I smiled.

"Just one thing of candy." I said. She got excited and started talking out loud about which one she wanted. Drew and I watched her while laughing. She finally decided on Starbursts. We paid and went to go pick up the pizza. Half way to the pizza we hear Lexi talking to someone. I turn around to see her holding Drew's phone.

I laugh and look at Drew who gave me a questioning look. I chuckled and said "she has your phone." His eyes got wide while I laughed.

"Lexi how did you get that? Give it to me." She handed him the phone and he looked to see who was on the phone. "Oh it's just Wesley. Hey man... Yeah sorry haha.... Anyways do you, Keats, and your mom want to come out to dinner with us tonight? My mom's coming up... Okay... Cool... Seven work for you?.. Okay... Alright... See you then... Later." He hung up the phone and said "They're coming tonight. Lexi how did you get my phone?"

"It was just sitting there and ringing so I picked it up. I said 'Hello?' And Wesley said 'Hey Lexi. Why do you have daddy's phone?'" she was trying to make her voice deep to sound like Wes and it was hysterical. She told us the rest of the conversation word for word. After that we arrived at the pizza shop. I ran in real quick to grab the pizza.

When I came back out the two of them were singing Taylor Swift songs and shaking their heads trying to whip their hair around. I laughed at them and got in the car. We drove home and listened to music. Once we got home we just ate the pizza and watched a movie. At around two Drew left to go pick up his mom while Lexi and I watched another movie.

I must have fallen asleep because I didn't watch any of the movie until Lexi told me to wake up because it was her favorite part. A little after that the front door opened and Drew walked in with his mom. She looked shocked to see us. "Drew honey who's this?"

Drew smiled proudly while replying. "Mom this is my girlfriend Jess and my daughter Lexi."his mom looks completely surprised at first but after some explaining she seemed really happy. We hung out for a little bit then got ready for dinner. Once everybody was ready we headed out to the restaurant.
