Different Chapter 19

Drew's POV

After the fireworks we decided to go home. I picked up Lexi, grabbed Jess's hand, and walked to the car. I felt Lexi put her head down, so I knew she was tired. We got to the car and I put Lexi in her seat in the back. Jess and I got in the car and we started driving home.

A half hour later both girls were asleep.

I brought Lexi into the house and put her to bed. Then I went back out and picked up Jess, trying not to wake her up. It worked until I laid her down in bed. She woke up and looked around before saying, "You didn't have to carry me. I could have walked."

I just chuckled and said, "Go to bed." I kissed her forehead and went to go get changed. When I came out Jess was already asleep again. I crawled into bed next to her and wrapped my arm around her waist. She snuggled into my chest and whispered, "I love you drew."

I kissed the side of her head and said, "I love you too, Jess."

Jess's POV

I woke up to an empty bed and laughing coming from downstairs. I walked down to see Rosie on the floor sleeping, Drew throwing food up in the air and catching it with his mouth, and Lexi giggling and saying again every time he catches a piece.

I just laughed and picked up Rosie. As soon as Lexi saw me she ran over and hugged my legs. I bent down to her level and hugged her back with Rosie still in my arms. "Good morning, sweetheart." I said to Lexi.

"Morning Jessie." She replied.

"Morning babe." Drew says hugging me after I let go of Lexi. I hug him back and he kisses the side of my head.

"Hey babe do you mind if me and Lexi have a girl day?" I ask Drew.

"Not at all. I actually have band practice so that's great."

"Okay Lex. We leave in an hour so go get ready."

"Yessssssssssssss."

"I'm gonna go help her." Drew says. I just nod and pour myself a cup of coffee. After I'm done I go upstairs to get ready.

After we were done getting ready we decided to go to the mall first. We walked around and bought some new outfits. Then we went into a shoe store and saw cute red sneakers with cheetah print. We saw they came in women and kids sizes so Lexi and I got matching sneakers.

After that we went to American eagle and I got aviator sunglasses. Then we went to gap and found almost the exact same ones only for kids so we got them for Lexi. Finally we got food after Lexi had been complaining for an hour.

We sat down and ordered and Lexi told me what she wanted to do for the rest of the day. When we were done eating we went to a nail salon and got manicures and pedicures. We picked out a light pink color for our toes and French nails for our fingers.

Then we went home because it was 3:00 and we had been here since 10:30.
When we got in the car Lexi fell asleep.

After we got home Drew still wasn't back. I put Lexi in her room and I went to Drew's and fell asleep.

Lexi's POV

I woke up and went downstairs. I looked in the kitchen and saw daddy making dinner. He saw me and smiled. I walked towards him and he picked me up. "Hey baby girl." Daddy said.

"Hi daddy." I replied while rubbing my eyes. "What are you making?"

"Pasta and it's almost done so go wake Jess up."

"Okay." I ran upstairs and went to my dad's room to see Jessie asleep. I jumped on the bed and she woke up. She started laughing and tickled me. We got up and went downstairs. Once the table and everything were set up we all sat down and had a family dinner.
