"Hi Dell." He pushes past me and sits on my bed.
"Hi, uhm what are you doing here?" I try being nice because I don't want to fight with him and then be in a bad mood on my date.
He smells of smoke and his eyes are red.
"Are you high?" I ask inquisitively.
"I might be." He chuckles.
"Do you smoke often?" I don't know how I feel about this.
"Do you always ask this many questions?" He counters with a cheeky smile. I sit next to him on my bed.
"Well are you ever gonna answer them?" I fire back and raise an eyebrow.
"No Della, I don't smoke often, but I was exceptionally pissed off today." He says and the smile disappears from his face. I hadn't expected him to actually answer.
"Oh, why?" I squeak. I have a feeling I know why.
"Cause you'd rather hang out with that dumbass Parker than me." He says calmly and lays back against my headboard and puts his arms behind his head. His hazel eyes appear much lighter surrounded by the red. It's an appealing look on him, then again, I doubt he could ever look anything less than perfect. Suddenly I remember what he said. What? He wants to hang out with me?
"Don't call him a dumbass, and you've never asked me to hang out."
"So you would say yes if I asked?" He says, and looks almost nervous.
"If you were nice to me, then yes." I give him a soft smile. He sits up.
"Tell me Dell, what do you even see in Parker?"
"W-what do you mean? He's sweet and kind to me. I like him." He is gradually leaning in closer.
"Bullshit."
"What?"
"I don't think you really like him. Do you want him?" He is inches from my face.
"Yes."
"I think you want me Dell. I think you want me as much as I want you." He says in a low voice. My throat is dry and I can't think straight. He wants me.
"I beg to differ." I manage to say.
"Then beg." He says without missing a beat.
He hesitantly leans in and I don't back away. His eyes are soft and his tongue darts out to wet his lips. He looks at me as if to gauge my reaction and I instinctively licked my lips. He grabs a hold of my neck and presses his lips to mine.
I freeze for a second but quickly recover and kiss him back. He runs his tongue along my bottom lip and I open my mouth. His tongue tastes of smoke and mint. It is much more appealing than it sounds. Instinct take over and I move my hands to the nape of his neck and tug at the hair there. My whole body feels electric. I have only kissed two boys before this and none came close to this. The feeling is indescribable. One hand moves to my waist and the other stays at my neck. He pulls me to him and squeezes my hip, my nails dig into his neck and he groans into my mouth. It sends vibrations all through my body. I hear my phone ding. Oh my god Cole.
I put my hands against his chest and try to push him off but he just covers my hands with his and holds them to him. Despite me trying to push him off, I am still kissing him. I push again.
"No." He says into the kiss.
"Yes." I counter.
"Why?" He says as we finally pull apart, both breathless and with swollen lips. He looks like a god, his eyes look like caramel and his lips are bright pink and plump.
