Chapter 9

Angel was better on Tuesday and they practiced all night after school so they can get a good grade.

It was now Wednesday and Angel was waiting in the music room with her guitar out and ready. She saw Ashton and Michael walked in hand in hand. Ashton pecked his boyfriend on the lips before walking over to Angel.

"Hey were performing first so we have to get ready"

Angel nodded but before she stood up she noticed something on Ashton's finger. "What's that on your finger?"

Ashton looked at his finger and smiled "a promise ring, Michael gave it to me"

Angel nodded before going over to the front of the class and grabs a stool and sits on it sorting out her guitar. Ashton grabs a stool and sits down.

The teacher turns to the class "okay quiet down class Ashton and Angel are ready to perform"

Angel:

Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain

I leave my heart open but it stays right here empty for days

She told me in the morning she don't feel the same about us in her bones

It seems to me that when I die these words will be written on my stone

Ashton suddenly stormed out of the classroom. Michael stood up and chased after him and so did Angel. Bethan and Ashley were by Ashley's locker collecting the books she forgot and saw Ashton running out.

Michael grabbed Ashton arm "Baby what's wrong"

Ashton pulled away and turned to Angel "Why? Why did you make us do this song? It brings back so many memories"

Angel knew it was time to confess "Because I want you back to the old you. I thought that it would be the same when you get back but no, you turned to this, guy with tattoos, smoking and dating him" she gestures to Michael "It hurts to know that you're not the same, it hurts Ashton" she put her head in her hands and starts to cry.

But the thing is everybody thought her crying was real but Bethan was the person that wasn't clueless.

She was fake crying.

Bethan remembers the cry; Angel was practicing to her over the phone once. "That little bitch" she mumbles to herself.

Of course Ashton fell for it and he looked at Michael and Michael already new.

It was over.

"It's okay Ashton I understand"

"No Michael let me explain" he said walking forward and grabbing his biceps.

"No it's fine. I was just something until she came back, I understand"

Ashton looked at Michael in shock, he actually thought that. "Michael no that's not it"

Michael shook Ashton off him "I just didn't think that you would be like this, pretending to love me"

Tears were forming in Ashton eyes "No baby" he places his hands on Michael cheeks and rests his forehead against his "I love you"

"Don't lie Ashton" Michael said. He took the promise ring off. "I thought this was forever"

He drops the ring to the ground before leaving the school. Ashton drops to his knees and picks up the ring and clutches it in his hand. "Mikey" he whimpers.

Bethan goes over and wraps his arms around Ashton and he cries into her neck. Ashley goes over to comfort Angel. Bethan looked back at the two girls to see Angel smirking.

Angel might think that Ashton back, but she might have just broke him instead.

So yep, Angel succeeded.

Don't worry though, it doesn't end here.
