Things Changed (Mashton) ✔️

Chapter 2

Ashton was in shock. "When did you get back?"

"A couple of days ago" Angel replied.

The bell went off then and the kids who were outside started heading into school.

"So where are we going today?" One of the boys said.

"Actually I'm going to go to class today" Ashton said collecting his bag.

"Oh so now your friend is back you're going to be the goody two shoes again?" Luke, Michael's best friend teased.

Ashton looked at his boyfriend Michael, hoping he would understand.

"Guys leave him okay. His best friend just came back just let him be"

The rest of the boys all mumbled a quick 'fine' and went over to where their cars and motorbikes were. Michael walked over to Ashton walked over to Michael and wrapped his arms around his waist. "I'll see you at lunch okay". Ashton nodded and gave Michael a quick peck on the lips. Angel saw Michael put something in Ashton's jean pocket before giving him one last kiss and leaving.

"What did he put in your pocket" Angel asked

"Just a cigarette" Ashton replied.

"Since when did you smoke?"

Ashton shrugged "I dunno" he said "can't remember"

Angel and Ashton walked to the class, which was English and the teacher was surprised to see Ashton there.

"Ashton I'm surprised you're here, I haven't seen you in school since five months ago"

Angel was shocked; Ashton hadn't been to school in that long. Ashton mumbled a quick 'sorry' before heading to the back of the class, with Angel following behind. They sat in the back and most of the student were shocked to see Angel back but were more shocked to see Ashton in class.

When the lesson started Angel whispers over to Ashton "You haven't been to school in five months". Ashton shakes his head. "Why?"

"I was busy" Ashton whispers.

Angel nodded and decided not to carry on the conversation and decided to do the work that the teacher has assigned them to do. She looked over to see Ashton was doing the work but there was nothing on the piece of paper which they had to write. Ashton was actually on his phone. Angel saw Ashton smile and slightly blush, he also giggled.

"Ashton do want to share with the class on why your giggling" The teacher said.

Ashton put his phone into his pocket "um no miss, um sorry miss".

He quickly looked at the work he had to do and was already confused, well that's what you get for missing school for five months.

*Lunchtime*

Angel, Bethan and Ashley sat on the grass on the school field eating their lunch.

"Hey where's Ashton" Angel asked.

"I'm here" a voice said from behind.

Angel turned around to see Ashton, she smiled maybe because she was back he wanted to be what he was like before.

"Hey Ashton" Bethan said

"Hey Beth how you doing" Ashton asked.

"I'm good" Bethan replied.

Ashton then saw arms go around his waist from behind and felt someone nuzzling his neck "Michael, stop" he giggled.

Michael lifted his head "Well I'm sorry if my boyfriend looking pretty today"

Ashton smiled "I love you"

"Love you too"

Ashton turned back to Angel "Um my mum said that you guys are coming over tonight"

Angel nodded "Yeah that's true"

"Well my mums making her spaghetti tacos" Ashton said "one of her new recipes"

"Oh my god I love your mums Spaghetti tacos" Michael said.

"Well I can't wait to try them" Angel said.

"HEY LOVERBIRDS WE GOING IN FIVE" Luke shouted over to them.

"Right I've got to go, um tell miss I'm ill or something" Ashton said grabbing Michael's hand and dragging him off to where the rest of the guys were.

Angel turned back to her friends "I'm going to change him back, change him back to the normal him"

"Angel" Ashley said "I know you want him back, but come on did you just see them two, there are so cute" she squealed.

"Fan girl much" Bethan said. Ashley gave her a glare and Bethan just poke her tongue out and turned back to Angel "What if he doesn't want to change back"

Angel turned around to see Ashton leaning back against the car door, Michael hovering him. She saw Ashton take the cigarette out of Michael's mouth and took a drag before crashing his lips with his boyfriends. When they pulled away Angel saw the brightest smile on Ashton's face. She turned back around and started picking crumbs off her sandwich.

What if Ashton didn't want to change back.
