Chapter 3

The Lights started to dim and smoke emerged from the stage. All of a sudden the lights started to flash green, red and blue. The Boys came on to the stage and Michael said his usual "Are you guys ready to rock?!" And the crowd went absolutely crazy. We all jumped out of our seats and screamed the lyrics to every single song that they played. About half way into the concert Ashton made his way to the front of the stage and stood next to Luke and whispered something into his ears. Luke let a slight giggle roll off of his tongue then pointed down to Beka and I. We took a look at each other then focused back on the stage. We noticed that Ashton was writing something on a piece of paper and then handing it to security beside the stage.

Ashton ran back up to his drums and then Calum announced that the next song would be "beside you". Beside you was one of our all-time faves and we could not prevent ourselves from tearing up a bit.

half way through the song i feel someone tapping my shoulder, at first I thought it was just some girl who tapped me by accident but it kept on going. I turned around to see what was going on. It was security. "Miss, you are going to have to come with me.", the man said to me gripping my arm tightly. I looked at Beka concerned because I was sure that I had not done anything wrong. Beka quickly told me to call her as soon as possible and i nodded quickly before being pulled away backstage.

"The boys want you up on stage with them to sing "Heartbreak girl" with them at the end of the concert. They will be singing it in about 5 minutes so if you agree to get up on stage with them just wait here until Michael comes to get you, he will take you up on stage with him!" The tall man said to me. "Of course! I would love to!", I said fast very excited.

The man left me waiting in the hall beside the stage for about 2 minutes so i quickly decided to text Beka.

- Omg beks! They want me on stage with them!! See you soon! ahhh xxx

"Hey, emm; Mia is it? So we are ready for you .. you ready?" Mikey asked me smiling. I could not even manage to get one single word out of my mouth so i just shook my head a thousand times while smiling like a dork. Michael took my hand and led me on to the stage to a big chair in the middle of the stage then handed me a microphone. "So guys, we decided it would be nice to have someone sing along with us up here on the stage so we decided that Mia would join us today in singing Heartbreak girl. Are you ready?", Luke asked the crowd then turned to me. The stadium filled with screams and Calum really wanted to add something to what Luke had just announced. "By the way guys.. Mia was Ashton’s choice sooo..", He stated the pulled ashton up to where I was sat and Luke handed him a mic . "1, 2, 3, 4!" Michael shouted then they started singing. I was not really too sure how the song would sound without drums then I noticed they were doing an acapella version. Ashton looked at me clearly embarrassed by the fact that the boys made such a scene but he quietly told me that i should sing along. I did as I was told and joined in singing. I was having so much fun that I had not noticed that the song was nearly over and that kinda disappointed me terribly, but oh well.. it is not like I am ever going to experience anything like this ever again.

When the song was over the boys all gave me a big hug and Luke thanked me for joining them then security came and got me off of the stage. The boys said their goodbye and thank you's to everyone and then they came off of stage and sat down on the sofas next to me. I could barely breath and I felt like I had been shot and was flying into heaven on a magical unicorn eating lucky charms while wearing a fairy costume. yes my friends, that’s how unreal this was to me. I finally snapped back into reality when I was being hugged but I did not know by who until they pulled away. It was Beka. She was having a mini heart attack and could not even cope with being in the same room as 5SOS.

I looked at the boys and they were all staring at Beka and I like we were some kind of science project at the science fire that had won first prize or something like that. "Soo guys, what do you wanna do?", Mikey asked us like we had been BFF'S sice in the birth giver’s womb and we kinda just stared at him. "what do you mean?!" Beka asked him as about as confused as I was. "Well seeing as you are already here and Ashton obviously has this thing for your- I must say very fine friend - We figured that we could maybe you know just chill for a bit?" Calum said laughing a bit.

"How about we go get something to eat, I'm soo starving, I could eat an elephant.. like no joke.", Luke half laughed with stroking his stomach. We all started to laugh but Luke just stared at us waiting for an answer. "Ermm, yeah! Food sounds good, who is in?" Ashton asked smiling at us. "Count me out! Sorry guys I just couldn't stomach it at the moment, besides I ate before the show.", Calum said shrugging. "Yeah same, Don't wanna fuck up my sexy figure, aha. But it was amazing meeting you guys, I hope we get to see you again while we have some time off!", Mikey said.

"So I guess it is just the 4 of us?" Luke winked. "Yeah, a full on proper double date!" Ash said laughing. We went out back and got into The black van and sat opposite from each other. While Luke and Beka were in deep convo Ash handed me a piece of paper and i put it in my bag quickly because I did not want to cause a scene over a piece of paper. "So where are we going?" I asked them. "Don't tell anyone but we are taking you to a secret chamber in a cave where we will lock you up and rape you then feed you to some llamas!" Luke said whispering.

I looked at Ash concerned but he just laughed and shook his head. "Don't take him seriously, we don't own any llamas, duh!" Ash said.

I looked at Beka and we both started laughing. Before we could all stop laughing the van pulled up outside a place called "Frankies". We had both never heard of this place before but The boys had told us that it was their most favorite place to eat in Sydney and that it was a family run restaurant and it was hardly ever busy. We made our way inside and sat in a booth at the back of the restaurant. This must be their usual spot im guessing.

Within seconds a young looking woman came over to our table to take our beverage orders. Luke ordered a large diet coke, Ash ordered a large lemonade, Beka ordered the same and I ordered large mountain dew. The woman took our orders then handed us the food menu. "Would you like me to explain the menu or are you all good?" She asked and I swore she couldn’t be less happy with her job than she was right now. "I am sure we will manage!" I said to the woman taking our order. "God don’t you just hate it when you can tell how fed up people are with their jobs?" I asked everyone. They all laughed and nodded. The woman came back and took the rest of our orders and brought us our drinks. After a while of talking I excused myself from the table and went to the bathroom. I opened the note from ash that read:

Hey Mia, I wanna get to know you better. Sounds strange seeing as I have only just met you but yeah.. Call me sometime? Ash xx

And at the bottom of the note was his number. I could not stop myself from smiling. I saved  his number into my phone quickly then wrote mine on the back of the paper before heading back out to the table. As I got back to where we were sat the food had just arrived.

After we had all finished eating we made our way back to the van and then after around half an hour of driving we made it back to Beka's car that was parked in the parking lot.

We said our goodbyes and Ashton said he would text me later. As he was hugging me goodbye i put the pice of paper into his hand then winked at hime. We got into the car and drove back to the hotel and went up to our room. I jumped into my bed and just stared at the roof. And all I could say was "What the actual dingle dogle tingle tangle just happened??"
