First, I just want to say sorry for not updating. I have been really busy, but I will update more often now x

*Beka's POV*

Do you know when you make a cake and put it in the oven and want to take it out after 5 minuets because you really want it but it needs more time? Thats how i feel about Luke. I really like him, but I haven't known him long enough.

I kissed him back.

"Luke, I really like you but I need to get to know you more."

"That's ok. I'm sorry I took it too quickly", he said looking at the ground.

"It's fine Luke, seriously."

He took my hand and we continued in the direction of the restaurant. It was a short walk, around 10 minuets. It was still pretty warm out and the sun was going down. The sky turned a pink color and the smell of the ocean hung in the air. It was quite perfect.

"Here we are!", exclaimed Luke, pushing open the door to a restaurant called 'Sunset'.

"I know the name sounds cheap, but it's a really nice place and you can watch the sunset over the ocean. It's beautiful", he explained.

"I'm sure it is", I said before smiling and following him into the building.

It was a small place. The lights were dimmed low and it seemed full. Little fairy lights were hung up everywhere which made it look really nice.

"Did you reserve?"

"Yeah. It's always busy here so I wasn't taking any chances of not getting a table", Luke replied, proud of his plan.

Just then, a man approached us.

"Good evening. Did you reserve a table?"

"Yes. Table for Hemmings", said Luke.

"Ah! Mr and Mrs Hemmings! Follow me", he exclaimed before grabbing two menus and heading towards the back door.

We followed him like two ducklings following their mother. He pushed the door open to reveal a deck that went out over the ocean.

There were a lot less people out here. There were trees that also had fairy lights strung in them and it added a really special touch.

The man led us to a table right by the railing so that we could see the sunset with nobody in front of us. He handed us a menu each and left.

"This is... I don't know what to say", I said.

"You don't like it do you. I'm sorry. Cal suggested it. I knew I should have just stuck to pizza!", he said, getting all worked up.

"No, Luke! It's so beautiful. I have never been anywhere this special before", I replied, whilst rubbing the back of this hand reassuring him it was fine.

"Oh. Thank god! I thought I had ruined our first date", he said, laughing at how silly he was.

The wind began to pick up and I was shivering a bit. Luke kept asking if I wanted to move inside, but I couldn't. It was too pretty outside.

"I don't have a jacket to give you, but you can have my flannel if you want?", Luke asked.

I giggled and nodded. He gave me his flannel. It didn't match my dress, but I didn't care.

*Luke's POV*

I couldn't believe how well it was going. She loved the restaurant and the atmosphere. I'm so glad Cal talked me out of taking her for pizza.

When she started shivering, I felt so bad. I wanted her to go inside but she insisted we stayed outside. I didn't have a jacket, so I gave her my flannel. She was smiling about it the whole time.

Eventually, our food arrived. I ordered a burger and fries. Beka went for some kind of fish, but it looked really good.

It didn't take us long to finish and before I knew it, Beka was ordering dessert.

"And for you, sir?", the waiter asked.

"Oh, we will just share", said Beka just as I was going to reply.

I didn't know what she had ordered, but I said ok. The waiter returned with a huge bowl of ice cream.

We both started eating. I would never have thought that Beka could eat so much. I found it cool that she ate normally in front of me.

At 22:30 PM we had finished and we began walking towards a taxi that would take us back to the hotel.

"Thank you so much for today. It has been great", she said whilst we walked hand in hand.

"No problem. I wanted to make it special for you"

Shortly after, the taxi pulled up outside the hotel. There were still a few fans outside. I couldn't just walk past them so I went over to them and took as many pictures as I could.

"Beka! Can I have a picture with you aswell?", asked a young girl.

Beka looked surprised. "Of course! How do you know my name?", she asked laughing and taking the girls phone to snap the picture.

"You and Mia are all over the teen mags!", said another girl.

We waved goodbye before walking into the hotel.

"I can't believe they know us!", exclaimed Beka.

"Well, you are hanging out with 5 Seconds Of Summer. News travels quickly"

We finally reached our door. We both stopped and looked at each other.

"You know, I think we should do it again sometime", I said awkwardly.

Beka smiled at me before going on her tip toes and kissing my cheek. She gave me a hug and whispered "Thank you" before opening the door and heading inside.

Nobody was in the living room. They had all gone to sleep. Beka waved good bye before she stepped into her own room.

I went in the kitchen and grabbed a glass of juice before sitting down on the couch and flicking on the TV.

MTV news came on.

"Is there love in the air down in Sydney? Lead vocalist and guitarist of the band 5 Seconds Of Summer, Luke Hemmings, has been spotted out on a date with a blond haired girl named Beka Simpson. Also, Ashton Irwin, the bands curly haired drummer, has been spotted on a date with Mia Green, a beautiful brunette who is also from Sydney", said the presenter.

How do they always find out so quick? And how do they know their names? I turned off the TV and went to bed.
