Chapter 7

*Beka's POV*

I couldn't stand just sitting there and thinking about what Luke was doing. He was obviously hurt, even though he had no reason to be. "I can't stand it anymore. I'm going to talk to him", I said before getting up and walking over to his room. I stood in front of his door for a few seconds before knocking. "Luke? It's Beka. Can we talk? Please…" A few moments later I heard footsteps walking towards the door. The handle turned and the door opened slightly. I fully opened the door before entering Luke's room and closing it again.

"What?", I heard him say from behind me. "Luke, I'm sorry. But it wasn't what it looked like. I walked out of your room this morning and Mia and Michael were sat in the kitchen having breakfast. They saw me and started questioning me as to why I was in your room and where I was last night. Then Calum came out of his room and joined in. I wasn't telling them anything, so before I knew it Calum pushed me down to the ground and told me to speak. Mia and Michael left the room and I was making funny faces so Calum was laughing and then you walked in and-" "Shit! I can't believe I was so stupid! It's just, when I saw Calum on top of you I got so jealous", he said quietly. "Wait, you were jealous?", I asked blushing. "I guess so. Yeah", He said whilst looking at the ground.

*Luke's POV*

She was so beautiful. Still wearing her PJ's and without any makeup. I can't believe I had been so stupid and jumped to conclusions. "Look Beka. Let me take you out. As an apology", I said scratching my neck. Beka's eyes lit up. "You mean like a date?" "Um...yeah", I said obviously shy.

Beka and I made up and walked out into the living where everyone was sat now. "Hey guys. Sorry about before, but count Beka and myself out of any plans you are making for today", I said awkwardly. "Ahhh! Are you going on a date?", asked Ashton smirking. "No. We are just going to get to know each other alone at a restaurant over dinner", said Beka. "Beka, dear. You just described a date", said Calum and everyone laughed, including me.

Beka went to get ready in her room whilst I grabbed some breakfast. Michael and Calum were in the kitchen too and I overheard their conversation: "You know what? If Luke and Beka are going out, we should make Ash take Mia out too" "Yeah! They clearly like each other"

I turned around and saw Ashton and Mia sitting very close to each other on the couch and chatting about something. They looked extremely cute together. It was obvious how happy they made each other. “I will leave that mission to you", I said to Calum and Michael before getting up from the bar stool I was sat on and walking to my room to get ready.

*Ashton's POV*

I had slept in really late this morning and walked out of my room to find everyone but Luke and Beka in the living room. I sat myself down next to Mia on the couch and we began talking. "Morning! You look nice", I said because she did. "Ash. Are you blind? I look a mess!", she said laughing. "Well I do have glasses", I said and Mia just slapped my arm.

Not long after, Luke and Beka came in. I had no idea what Luke was apologizing for, but honestly, I didn’t care. I was too busy looking at Mia and thinking of a way to ask her out on a date. Beka went into her room to get ready for her date with Luke and Luke, Calum and Michael went into the kitchen. Now was my shot.

“So Mia”, I said awkwardly. “So Ashton”, she replied. I giggled. “I have known you for two days now and on both those days everyone else has been around and we haven’t really had a chance to talk yet”, I said whilst playing with a piece of string I found. I continued: “So I was thinking that maybe we could go out?” I was blushing a lot and I felt my cheeks burning. I looked up and noticed that Mia had a huge smile plastered onto her face. “Yes! Of Course!” She said all excited. She was so cute.

Mia left the room to also get ready for the date. I was thirsty, so I got up and walked into the kitchen. “Hey”, I said to Michael and Calum who were awkwardly staring at me. “So Ash. Are you gonna ask Mia out or not?!” Calum asked me. “I just did.” They both looked at me and then Michael started clapping. “What?” I asked. “Well you never ask girls out so you must have strong feelings for her”, said Michael. I put my glass down and walked out of the kitchen waving goodbye to them because I didn’t know what to say.

*Mia’s POV*

Yes! Finally! I can’t believe he just asked me out. I went and told Beka straight away and we both squealed. I put on a pair of high-wasted shorts and an orange vest top. Over that, I put a kimono jacket and painted my nails black. I put my hair up in a loose ponytail and made the ends a bit wavy. For makeup I applied a light amount of foundation and some mascara. I walked over to the mirror and smiled at my appearance. I didn’t get dressed up because I had no idea what we were going to do on our date.

Just as I was finished, Beka’s head popped out of the bathroom door. “Because we are going to eat in the evening, I didn’t want to get all dressed up now so I had to find something that worked now and for at the restaurant”, she said before stepping out of the bathroom and reveling her outfit.

She was wearing a dress that went to just above the knee. It was a black and white zig-zag pattern and it suited her very well. Even though she was wearing black vans it looked very pretty. Her hair was down and slightly wavy. “You look beautiful”, I said and she really did.

We walked out and Ash and Luke were sat on the couch looking at us. “Mia! You look so pretty”, said Ash. “Thank you”, I said blushing and poking one of his dimples. “So do you” “I look pretty?” “Yes”, I answered and he laughed. Ashton told me that he was going to take me somewhere fun just after we had dropped Luke and Beka off at the fair.

*Beka’s POV*

“You look gorgeous babe”, said Luke. I have always been a shy person so I was smiling at the ground “Thanks and I really like your shirt.” Luke laughed. It was a black shirt that said “I don’t trust me either” on it. “I thought it would be fun to go to a fair before the restaurant”, Luke told me. I have always loved fairs so I was super excited! “Great! I can’t wait!”, I said like a kid.

“Come on then lets go!”, said Ashton and we all headed out the door.
