Chapter 18

*Beka's Pov*
The drive down to New South Wales seemed like forever.
Neither of us had much to say because.., well just too happy really. Casual chit chat was made and a few "do I look ok" -s before we were pulling down their drive.

I must say it was one heck of a place and neither of us had ever been here before so it was not the easiest to find but we managed - well i mean i did.

I parked my car at the end of the entrance next to a few others before we made our way to the front door, casually nearly twisting our ankles because take it from me, heels and gravel do not mix well.

10 minutes of standing around had passed because we had made a deal with Liz that we were to wait for her to come get us when the time was right and we had just received a text from liz telling us that she would come get us in 2 minutes and that we had to wait.
And so we patiently did.
I must say speaking for both of us, we were both excited, nervous, over the moon and defiantly ready to break down that damn door.

It didn't take all too long before someone tapped on my shoulder and yes it we Liz. She didn't hesitate to hug us both before introducing herself.
And yes I must say she was quite lovely. She reminded me so much of Luke.

Oh, Luke, that reminds me, Luke is here.

Liz guided us threw the house and made us wait in the kitchen. She made her way out in the garden.
"Thank you again Luke for the lovely surprise, but now I have one for you, well not just you " she said, "come join us she said, moving her sight to the kitchen where we were stood.

*Mia's POV*
After meeting Liz we followed her into the large kitchen and were told to wait until Liz waves at us to go join them.

It did not take long because what Liz had prepared was defiantly not a speech. And the Beka nudged me. It was go time.
The butterflies were already going crazy as We followed Liz's commands and made our way outside into the garden.

I untangled my fingers and looked up from the ground -

And that was it for me.

The first thing I saw were his eyes.

My eyes trailing down to his lips and all the way back up again.

He was watching me like I was the last steak at an open barbecue, his mouth wide open, his eyes bright and his eyebrows so on fleek. Almost as if he couldn't believe his eyes ...was that a good thing?

before I knew it, Ashton sprinted over to me and hugged me tightly.
"Mia? Is it really you?" He questioned excited touching every inch of my face and shaking me around.
I just giggled and nodded.

"Yep, it's really me!" I answered back. And before anything else could be said I felt Ashton's lips lock with mine and at that moment I swore he was the one.
