Chapter 19- Heartbroken

*Calum's POV*

"Yes..... okay.... okay, yes, Whatever..... look! I don't care! I said it because it's true! Sometimes the damn truth hurts." Luke yelled into his phone. He threw it on the ground then stormed out of band practice.

"What the hell has gotten into him lately?" Michael asks. "He's not being himself." He adds. "Yeah.. he's just being a plain butthead." Ashton says and we turn to him confused. "Butthead?" I ask. "Yep. Don't question my amazing vocab." Ashton jokes. We laugh then Luke comes back inside acting like nothing ever happened.

We just don't talk about it and finish band practice.

Luke has been out of control ever since he found out about Niall liking Brooklyn. Maybe it's because of that. But, I don't know why he would be acting like this all because someone likes his girlfriend. I bet lots of guys like Brook.

She's pretty, smart, an amazing singer, and she's really nice. I don't like her so much that I would date her though.

*Luke's POV*

We finish band practice so I head to the beach house the girls are staying at. Its about 7 am so I doubt they're awake but I'm still gonna go.

I ring the doorbell and I hear people talking inside. Surprised at who answers the door I say, "Um.. what're you.... What're you doing here?" I ask them. "The girls wanted us to stay the night." He says. "Us?" I ask. "Yeah... the rest of my friends." He says in a duh tone.

"So.. does this mean that Brooklyn is over me?" I ask. "No. Just because I'm here has nothing to do with you and Brooklyn." He says coldly. He must know what happened.

"Well... I just thought. You know, considering t-" I get cut off by him saying, "Considering what? Considering that whenever you break her heart, she always comes running to me for help. But whenever I tell her to dump you... she never does. You know why, Luke?" I just stand there and slightly shake my head no.

"Because she loved you, Luke! And now you ruined that for yourself. I'm not sure how she's going to break up with you but I just know that she is going to." He says and just closes the door.

I stand there frozen; not being able to do anything. I can't believe that she's going to break up with me. Yes, I did very bad things but I regret them all now. All I want is for us to go back to the way we were.

Now I just want to know if Brooklyn is going to go back out with him. If they stayed the night with them and all.... I bet she will. God, I'm so stupid.

*Niall's POV*

"Who was that?" I ask as Shane came back in the room. "Luke. I told him off for Brook." Shane laughs. I chuckle then Heaven comes into the room. "Is she still sleeping?" Shane asks Heaven. She nods. "I think I'm gonna go check on her." She says. "No! Let Niall do it!" Shane smiles and winks at me.

We laugh then I start to go upstairs to see how Sierra is doing. Awkward part is.... Shane and Sierra used to be boyfriend and girlfriend. They don't have feelings for each other that way anymore. Shane broke up with Sierra because he's gay now. It was quite a shock but we're all really good friends.

Brooklyn called Shane last night when he was with friends. They all came over and stayed up til 5 am. Shane and I were the only ones who never fell asleep though.

I drag myself up the stairs tiredly. I hear a faint noise. Is that someone crying? When I quietly open Brooklyn's bedroom door, I see her crying while she's sleeping.

I close the door and rub her back lightly. "Brooklyn. Shh... it's okay." I whisper in her ear and she gasps awake. "N-Niall?" She just kinda stares at me for a second. All of a sudden, she wraps her arms around my neck and clings to me.

"W-will you comfort me?" She mumbles. I nod and notice her blushing. I lay down next to her in bed. She cuddles up to me and we start to drift asleep. I don't think I've ever been more comfortable in my life.

Okay so, I know you guys are probably really confused about the whole Shane thing. Shane is Brooklyn's ex and they broke up from him being gay. They're all really good friends still. And about what Luke said where he was wondering if Shane and her were gonna get back together..... obviously he doesn't know Shane is gay.
