Chapter 21- Awkward.

*Kat's POV*

I walk into the house sighing. The girls were cooking lunch while singing some of our songs. I laugh when Brooklyn messes up her solo cos she has food in her mouth.

"Best solo I've heard in a while, Brook." Dakota jokes. Brook blushes laughing and hits Dakotas arm. "Shut up." We all laugh then Heaven randomly falls to the floor.

"What happened? Usually I'm the one that falls." Lyric laughs. "I'm not sure. I just kinda... fell. Things happen." Heaven says tiredly. "Sweetie.... you should go to sleep." I suggest. She just nods walking to the couch.

Instantly she starts snoring. "She snores really loudly. Last night, I could barely sleep." Brooklyn says. "Yeah, me either. But I couldn't sleep for other reasons!" I hear Lyric mumble and look at Brook. Brooklyn gets a bright red face so she turns around and pretends to be getting something. I get wide eyes. "Who did you hook up with last night?!" I squeal.

Brooklyn turns around with a shocked red face. "I defiantly didn't hook up with anyone!" She says. "Who'd you hook up with last night? I heard what Lyric said!" I say.

Dakota gasps and says, "Oh! I know! I saw Calum take the walk of shame this morning! I think that the paps did too." "What?! No! We didn't hook up! We were only talking about everything with Luke! Cal said that Luke shouldn't have done any of the things he did. Guys... Ash and Cal are worried that 5SOS will end. And it's all cos of me!" Brook says starting to tear up.

"Brooklyn, it's okay! We were just joking with you. But... do you think the band would really break up?" I say worried. I don't want Brooklyn to be the reason a band broke up... she would never hear the end of it from fans. I know Brooklyn wouldn't want to be the reason either.

We calm her down then start piling food in our mouths.

All of a sudden, Lyric's phone started to ring. "Hello?" She says as she puts it on speaker for us to hear. "Hello, Lyric! It's Savannah! We're running through some new tracks and we need a couple solos and bridges. We only need you and Brooklyn for today though. Don't want to work everyone else when we're doing a song they've already recorded." She explains. "Okay. That's fine. Brook and I will see you soon! Bye, Savannah!"

Lyric hangs up and they start to get ready to leave. "Bye guys! Have fun!" We chirp to them then they leave.

"Finally! This gives us time to set up Lyric's surprise birthday party! First... let's work on the guest list. We'll need an estimate of everyone before we start. Once we're done we will invite everyone!" I smile.

"Okay. Um.. let's start with all of us and the 1D boys. But... what're we gonna do about the 5SOS boys?" Dakota says. "Shit... you know what... we will just put everyone else on the guest list but them for right now." I tell her.

*Brooklyn's POV*

We walked out of the studio and went to the Daily Grind. Not as good as Starbucks but that's okay. Probably shouldn't only drink Starbucks coffee 24/7.

We ordered our coffee and payed. "Here you go. I'm sorry but we currently don't have any lids for the cups." The woman says flustered. "Oh.. that's okay. Thanks!" Lyric smiles and the woman says, "You're very welcome. Have a nice day." "You too."

I walk out of the cafe with Lyric following behind. "I can't believe that they don't have lids. It's crazy." I laugh. Lyric starts laughing too and bumps into a guy and gets a little iced coffee on his shirt. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I wasn't loo-... Michael?"

Looking up at the guy an his friend... I realize it's Michael and Luke. This is so awkward. "Wow... first time I've heard you say sorry in a while." Michael says bitterly. "Really? Why do you have to be such a damn ass to me? Just because I was actually there for my friend. Oh wait... you wouldn't know anything about that." She says sarcastically.

"Shut up bitch. The only reason I went out with you was cos it was a bet. Then I actually started liking you after about a month into the relationship. Now I'm not really sure how I feel." Michael says rolling his eyes. Lyrics jaw dropped open. I could tell that hurt her. It even hurt me hearing about it. They were the best couple I've ever seen.

Lyric got so mad that she grabbed my coffee and poured hers and mine on his head. Luke just stood there watching till Michael started to walk towards Lyric. I don't know what was going to happen but we'll never know cos Luke kicked Michael in the nuts.

He fell to his knees in pain. "Don't start acting like me, Michael. You'll regret it till the day you die! You see... I've already lost her.. now I've lost myself! Say you're sorry!" Luke says looking like he's pissed. I get big eyes at what he just said.

"Luke.. no, it's okay. Michael don't say sorry. I'll know that's it's just a lie. Have a nice day fucking yourself." Lyric says storming away. Luke and I just stand there looking at each other awkwardly. I finally walk away shedding a couple tears and Luke watches me walk away.

As Lyric and I drove away.... I knew it was over between us.
