Tia's POV

I put my clothes on as I walked out to the driveway. I dialed Morgan to come grab me. My dad gave me her number in case of emergency.

"Hello?" Morgan answers.

"Hope you're not busy Morgan, but I need a ride home. I just had a freaky time with Preston," I say.

"Preston Hernandez?" She asks.

"I think that's his name," I say.

"God, he's a douchebag, you shouldn't be doing it with him. He'll leave you stranded alone," she says.

"Perfect," I smile.

"What?" She says.

"Just pick me up," I laugh as she sighs.

I soon looked up to see Morgan's car with the lights blaring.

I opened the passengers side as we drove off.

"What went through your head?" She asks me.

"This isn't my one night stand," I say, "I'm not looking for someone to cling to me like Saran rap."

She laughs, "have you ever been in love?"

"No," I say, "I'm a wanderess, I don't belong to anywhere or anyone. I don't stay for more than a second."

"Really?" Morgan says, "how do you not get attached?"

"I guess I just... I just don't. There's more to life than boys," I say, "I could meet a million that try to mean something to me, but only one truly does."

"I thought you didn't have a boyfriend?" She asks.

"Not a boyfriend," I say.

"Something else?" She says.

"Yeah, I can't say," I say as we pull into the driveway.

It was about 2 AM when we arrived at the house. I got out of car with Morgan as we headed up the driveway. She opened up the door as we see Lucia at the hallway.

"I was so worried about you two! It's passed curfew!" She cries.

"Lucia, I'm an adult now," I say.

She was about to have a fit at me, until my father came in to save us both.

"There's my girl, I bet you reeled in a nice boy didn't you? Made him cry?" He laughs.

It's been a joke since I was five. When I was five years old, I made a boy named Jacob cry, because I called him fat.

"Sure did dad," I say, "so I'm gonna go now. Night Lucia, night dad."

Lucia sighed as me and Morgan went to her room.

"How do you get away with everything?" Morgan asks as I grabbed my clothes.

"It's all about reading a room and getting your parents sidetracked," I wink.

She laughs as I looked at the board next to me.

"Who's this?" I ask looking at a picture.

A picture of her as a young girl and a strong man.

"My dad, he passed away a few years ago," she says, "I miss him. I miss having a father."

I nod as she looks at me.

"Who'd you lose?"

"My brother, Chris. He was the reason my parents divorced," I say tearing, "He actually taught me everything I knew."

"I'm so sorry," she says.

"It's okay," I smile, "if he saw me, he would've been so proud of me. Well, I'm going to go shower."

Preston's POV

I moved my hand around the bed trying to find Tia. She's not very clingy for an odd reason. Usually a girl who would fling themselves on you would be down to stay.

I briefly opened my eyes realizing I was alone.

Never had that happen before...

I got up and stretched as I put on my shirt and some shorts. I headed downstairs to grab something to eat as a car pulled up to my house.

"Damn, they're here early," I say glancing at the clock.

7:14

"Jake probably left his shirt in the spare room again," I groan.

Ding dong

I opened the door to see Jake and Tyler.

"Hey my guy, you look exhausted? You fuck the shit out of that chick?" Jake laughs.

"Yeah bro, she was fucking good," I say.

"Man, was she even a virgin?" Tyler asks.

"No, definitely not, tight like one but she definitely got it before," I say.
