Tia's POV
Tyler has to drop Preston off first before us since his house was closest.
I was pretty quiet since I don't really feel like talking anyways.
"Can I talk to you outside?" Preston asks me.
I sigh as I got out to meet eyes with him.
"I know you don't have any friends here and you're bored out of your mind coming here," he says, "do you want to go on an adventure?"
"Well, sure, I better not waste my summer," I say.
I told Morgan I was out and not to wait up as we went inside.
Preston's POV
"Do you have a swim suit?" I ask.
"No," Tia says, "not with me."
"It's okay, I think my sister has a spare in your size," I say.
"Won't she get mad?" She asks.
"No, she's not here anymore," I say blankly.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to..."
"It's okay, it's been a few years since she passed away," I say opening the drawer, "pick one."
Tia's POV
I picked out a white halter top and white bottoms. I went to the bathroom and changed into them.
I put my shorts on but not my shirt and walked into his room. He wore red swim shorts and no shirt. His abs were as I remember them, firm and compact.
"So, what sort of adventures were you thinking?" I ask.
"Cliff diving, snorkeling," he says, "anything really. Possibilities are endless Tia. Live a little."
I shake my head laughing.
"Okay, let's do it all!" I say.
"Well, let's go then," he says going through the garage.
"I thought your car was out there?" I say suspiciously.
He grabs two helmets placing one on my head.
"You motorcycle," I laugh.
"You coming on an adventure or not?" He grins.
I shook my head getting on.
Preston's POV
I felt Tia's arms wrap around me as I started up my motorcycle. I pulled out of the garage and closed it.
I sped down across town with her on my back.
"Try to tell and scream!" I say.
"What? That's crazy!" She says.
"Do it Tia!" I yell.
She groans yelling.
"Wooooaaaaah!" She yells.
"There you go!" I say laughing.
The drive was a ways away from the main part of town. We finally made it to my favorite cliff.
"Where the hell are we?" Tia asks.
"This is where me and my friends usually cliff dive," I say taking my helmet off.
She pulled off her helmet releasing her wavy brown hair. I took off my shirt as she pulled off her shorts and shirt.
"Keep your shoes on, you don't want to step on anything," I say to her.
She wore rose gold Nike's and I wore black ones.
"How do you cliff dive?" She asks.
"You've never done this?" I ask her, "you've visited twice and never done cliff diving in Hawaii?"
"I'm not one who usually stays in," she says.
I grab her hand and bring her to the edge.
"Run, and seize the water," I say.
"And how do we get out?" She asks.
"There's a shore around there and some stairs on the side. Not many people go here after two," I say, "ready?"
She nods in hesitation. I took her hand as we stepped back.
"No turning back," she says.
We ran fast as we jumped in.
We splashed into the salty water diving in deep as Tia swam to to the surface. So much thrill was displayed on her face.
"That was so much fun! I want to do it again!" She says like a little kid in a candy store.
"Let's do it then!" I laugh.
Tia's POV
The words of my mother echoed my head.
Have an adventure
I tried flips off of the cliff and Preston showed off his aerial dive. We must've been diving off of that cliff forever since it got darker.
My hair absorbed the salt water making my waves crisp. His sandy hair was crispy as well. He ran his hand through his hair smiling at me.
I have to admit this was quite reckless of me to do.
