Chapter One

I sat in his room as tears streamed down my S/C (skin colour) face, I sat there relishing in memories and despair. It felt like I was sat there for a majority of the clock until I was interrupted by her, the one who ruined it all... Katherine.

Y/N POV

I was clearing my master's shelf getting ready to dust it, careful not to break anything otherwise Sir would be angry. I was suddenly pried away from the shelf by a man's hands on my waist, spinning me to face him as I saw Damon's sparkling, diamond eyes in my vision, immediately I smiled. He made sure to be delicate with me as he lifted me into the air and spun the both of us as we joyfully laughed heartily.

"My love, we must stop, as your father is here?" I questioned him, I looked into his eyes as I can't help the smile that granted my face.

"No dear, they had to call him over to the coasts where there's a hearing of more billows, apparently there's been a bruit about a village that has been taken out," Damon said with worry and sorrow in his eyes, as he gave his prayers to the lost ones.

I frowned but urgently tried to smile as I wanted it to be happy days while Sir was away.

"My dear, it may just be a whisper! Not all we hear is true, correct?" I told him, he can find out from his father when he has returned, or at least a colleague of his father's.

He grinned as he lifted me once more, gently placing me on his bed as he placed gentle kisses on my neck, I raised my head to give him easier access to bestow his affection where he wants. He looked up at me and smiled, I smiled back with as much happiness.

I have fallen for this gentleman, deeply.

Damon's POV

My pure lady, I felt bad in the eyes of our Lord as we went to church later in the day, they say it's forbidden to make love before marriage, but I hope that God will forgive us for our situation in classes, my father would never accept that I am in love with a 'peasant girl', I have never thought of Y/N that way, I could never.

I remember the first day I ever laid my eyes on her...

I had just walked out of my father's study room with a freshly bruised eye and red cheek, I had just taken the blame of my young brother's doing, having just gotten back from a battle my brother - Stefan had wanted to play a game he heard of called 'Hide and Go Seek' the sound of it was intriguing and I thought it was very fun.

Walking down the hallway, I accidentally bumped into a maiden, she almost dropped a vase but she clumsily caught it, her face was a sight to see.

Her soft long H/C (hair colour, sorry if you have short hair, it'll just be long for this date of the story but you can imagine otherwise if you'd like) hair was loosely tied up by a string, her E/C eyes complemented her features greatly, oh how I would love to just rest my lips against hers, the pink blush on her cheeks made me adore her much more.

"Oh, I am greatly sorry miss, I didn't me-" I was interrupted by her angelic voice as she started trembling, she gently placed the vase back in place.

"-Oh no, sir, it was my fault I was too busy admir- I was, um I'm sincerely sorry..." She said, cutting herself off.

"What were you admiring? May I ask?" I asked, a slight smirk twitching at my lips.

"Um, well... I've not seen you here before, young Sir?" She changed the subject. Smart lady, I thought, smiling.

"I have just arrived from battle, tough stuff, I had gotten wounded so they had to send me back from the major injury, I'm sorry, I shouldn't talk about myself so much, what's the name that is connected to such a beautiful lady like you?" I asked, shyly as a blush coated my cheeks slightly.

"Y/N... miss Y/N L/N," She told me, looking down at her feet.

I gently placed a finger under her chin and brought face back up to look into her eyes.

"Please miss L/N, don't cover your face, I was admiring you," I said, I would've liked to have said it more smoothly but this one lady made me tremble in my legs.

I would cherish her forever.

A/n Hi, so this is a story I've been working on since 2019... I just never had the balls to publish this one? I have a lot more Chapters for this story but I feel like I might just test the waters with it first and see how people like it, feel free to comment and give any suggestions as I am open to any constructive criticism:)
