Damon's POV 1864
As father was still away, Y/N and I would have midnight rendezvous almost every night as we believed it would be a great idea to bring us closer so our bond was unbreakable. There was another whisper that a village in a European country had burnt down and everyone died apart from one woman and she was supposedly coming here after Guissisipi gets home.
I held Y/N tightly as she was displayed right next to me, smelling her freshly washed hair, and I stroked her soft s/c skin. I had a plan which I will be persistent in executing. I just need to inform my brother.
I gently got up careful not to wake Y/N, I tiptoed to my brother's chamber next to mine having it be night and I didn't want anyone finding out about my plan. As I slowly opened the door and crept inside, I woke my brother.
"Brother, Stefan. I have a plan" I whispered as he was finally awake.
"And what would that be, Damon" He yawned rubbing the sleep from his eye.
"We are going to leave. You, me and Y/N" I looked at him seriously. "And we are going tomorrow night, so... are you in or out?" I asked.
"Wait, I knew there was something between you, brother and Miss L/n. I- I'm in, as long as we escape father. I'll stick with you and be by your side, brother." Stefan said to me resting his hand behind my head as we put our foreheads together making a pact.
"Well, you can count me in." Y/n said behind us, her arms crossed and her face lit up in a warm smile.

Damon's POV 2019
The bottle of bourbon was fresh in my hand yet the remainder of the alcohol swirled around the bottom as if it were mocking me saying I was trying to go so many places but I'd simply be trapped or going in circles.
Her voice would mock me every day, but even though it wouldn't be her it would instead just be me hallucinating, I would drink just to see her, to hear her, almost feel her touch.
If only I knew a way to bring her back...
Oh wait, I do.
