You are loved.
You will never be forgotten.
You funny and sarcastic remarks will forever be in our hearts.
You meant so much to so many people.
Everyone was so sad when you left.
We had a whole day mourning for you.
It truly shows how much every life matters.
I will try not to mourn over your death.
I will try to celebrate the 12 years you had.
Only 12 years.
That's barely a tenth of the life you could have lived.
It really is not fair to her.
Don't say she is in a better place.
That's bullshit.
She was better with the people that cared about her.
But I guess she is now with her uncle and grandmother.
The teachers said we will go back to normal school tomorrow.
Nothing will be normal without you.
Everythings different now.
You're gone.
There's no going back.
There is nothing more permanent than death.
And you're gone.
What will I do?
Could I have done something?
Is it my fault?
I hope you know there were so many tears shed for you.
Hundreds
No, I cried hundreds.
Thousands.
No, I know more than ten people that cried as much as me.
Millions.
We think you died because of the flu.
Whatever it was.
I hope you passed in peace,
and will rest in peace.
Tomorrow everyone is wearing green.
For you because your favorite color was green.
In loving memory of Amelia Lobdell.
