I only see him 5 minutes a day-Total.
He gets on & off at the train terminal across from me.
I don't know where he's going, where he comes from, what he does, what he likes.
I don't even know his name.
But I find that day by day, I learn something...

MAY 14, 20XX THURSDAY
Taehyung was allowed out of the hospital today. He bargained with them that he would get the surgery if they let him--- even though he had already had set his mind to do it.
"Hey Jennie, remember when you told me you love animals?"
I looked up at him, shielding my eyes from the blaring sun.
We were walking at the street mall by my house, a cute mini date filled with Lychee Sprite and Japchae.
I nod my head.
"Did you ever own a pet?" He excitedly bites his lip as he smiles. I know he already wants to tell me his plan.
His smile is contagious, I find myself giggling when I say, "No, I haven't."
He clicks his tongue and playfully frowns. "You're going to be a vet that never had a pet? We can't have that now can we?"
"No we cannot." I grin as I start to have a feeling where he's going with this.
He spins and walks backwards in front of me, causing me to almost smack into his chest.
"So let's get one."
"Ah!" I stand there in disbelief. "Are you serious right now?"
He doesn't say anymore and pulls me along, like a child on it's way to the toy store.

"A cat? We can name it Kkanji." Taehyung points to one of the cats behind the gate.
He skips over to the dog section.
"A big dog? Soonshim?"
The big white fluffy dog attempts to put its paws on his shoulder.
That dog will drag me during walks.
He laughs and moves on along. He crouches down and plays with some smaller puppes.
"A smaller dog? Ssyongssyong?"
I follow him and giggle as I tickle their furry tummies. Taehyung gets up and runs off somewhere else, his gasp letting me know exactly where.
"I got it! An even smaller dog!" Taehyung scoops up a tiny pomeranian with his working arm and hugs it close to his face.
"Do we look a like? They say dogs can look like their owners. So let me get a head start."
I almost melt at the sight. I rush over and pet the cute dog's tiny head. "And what can we name it?"
Taehyung twists his mouth around in thought. "Taennie."
Taennie? Like-
"Like Taehyung and Jennie." He walks over lets the dog gently lick my face. It has stolen my heart within those 5 licks.
I take him in my hands and hold him up. "Winner!"
Taehyung laughs and leans against the wall. "I also got another one."
I turn to him and hold the puppy up to my face, batting my eyelashes. "What?"
"A cute clingy girlfriend."
He walks over to tap my nose and I tilt my head up in confuscion.
