Chapter 1

Erika's Pov- Today's another average day, I woke up in my one-bedroom apartment alone as always. I 24 years old and don't have a boyfriend because I can never find the right one like they are all such assholes who only want me for my body. I live in Nashville, Tennessee and work at my uncle Jim's bar that's down the street from my place. I don't really live in the best side of Nashville because I'm in student loan debt from college. Yes, I went to college for 2 years but it didn't really work out lol. Anyways being a bartender is really not that bad, I meet a lot of drunk assholes but it's okay, Max and Charlie help me out if a man is getting to aggressive or just inappropriate. Max and Charlie work with me and they are legit sweethearts. They are both like brothers to me and I'm glad I have them. Well that's me. I'm currently getting ready to go to work, we open at 4pm and close at 2am. I usually work the full shifts since I'm everyone's favorite bartender but lowkey it's because I'm the only girl that can handle the drunk assholes.

Uncle Jim- Hey sweetheart, how was your day?

Rik- it was good thanks for asking, so do you think it's going to be a full bar tonight?

Uncle Jim- yea Rik it looks like it since the bar across is closing tonight we will be getting the usual's from over there, but tonight you will work with Charlie so you won't be alone.

Rik- sounds good, how's Aunt Betty

Uncle Jim- She's Good, she misses you. You should come by this weekend and see her.

Rik- I think I will thanks Uncle Jim. Alright well let me go get the bar ready for tonight, we open soon.

Uncle Jim- alright Rik I'll be leaving in an hour so let me know if you need anything before, I go. Charlie is coming in an hour or two.

Rik- kk

n/a pov-Uncle Jim left, leaving Erika alone at the bar waiting for customers and Charlie who is running late. Guys started to come in and go to the bar and start drinking there problems away.

Erika- hi what can I get y'all?

Guy 1- can I get your number for one and two a scotch on the rocks

Erika- well I will sadly have to deny your request for my number (she said with sarcasm) but scotch on the rocks coming right up. (She quickly made his drink and started asking the other guys when Charlie came in)

Charlie- Hey Rik I'm here sorry I'm late, is everything good?

Rik- yea I'm good come help me with those incomers

Charlie- you got it.

Erika's Pov- Everything was going smoothing until Charlie left to use the bathroom, the guy who asked for my number earlier got way to drunk and started to come behind the bar.

Erika- hey you cannot come back here. Get back or you are leaving

Guy 1- hey pretty thing why you gotta be so harsh I just want a kiss.

Erika- legit get away from me before I call the cops

Charlie- Hey what's going on i heard shouting- Back the fuck away from her now and get out (Charlie screamed)

n/a pov- the guy left and knocked down some glasses from the bar

Erika- oh thank god, thank you Charlie (hugs him)

Charlie- yea no problem, what happened

Erika- he had way too much to drink and come in the bar. I think it's so funny how they are all scared of you because you are huge lol.

Charlie- yea I mean I am tall and buff who wouldn't be? (laughs)

Rik- okay don't get cocky, let's clean up and close the bar. Its 2am

Charlie- alright go clean up your boyfriend's mess from earlier.

Rik- hey shut up won't you plus you were late so you get to clean up that mess, I'll do the bar haha I win.
