Jake's pov- Erika is currently in the shower getting ready for bed, I wanted to do something nice for her so I order some pizza and got out some board games. I don't know why board games seem to distract her from everything. I changed into some joggers and waited for the pizza to arrive. Erika came out of the shower in her goat onesie and crawled in bed with me. My precious girl, I love her so much. She looked at peace just laying here on my chest. I rubbed her back up and down to relax her a bit, I know that after everything that happened this past week she's been stressed and scared. I got a message saying the pizza had arrived so I slipped from under Erika to open the door.
Jake- Pizza is here, let's eats babe.
Erika- can we play board games while we eat? (puppy dog eyes)
Jake- already got them set up, so come on.
Erika giggled and pecked Jakes lips on the way to the table.
Erika- Jake we never got to celebrate your promotion.
Jake- that's okay, just being with you is enough for me to celebrate.
Erika- hmm but not for me. I'm ordering a cake for tomorrow and we can go to the bar as guests to have some drinks. That way you have all my attention and nothing can happen to me since I'll be with you.
Jake- alright if you really want to go out and celebrate then we can have some drinks tomorrow night, but you are not leaving my sight.
Erika- roger that (giggles)
Jake- oh what did i get myself into. (chuckles) I don't think I have ever seen you drunk.
Erika- oh damn, I get fun. (winks)
N/a POV- Jake and Erika had a good night filled with laughter and excitement. They stayed up all night playing and enjoying themselves, Erika would randomly stare at Jake with a smile plaster on her face. She loved the fact that she found herself a good guy who made her feel safe and loved. Jake would give her a look of confusion which would cause Erika to giggle and kiss him.
Jake- what's with the starring tonight
Erika- oh it's nothing (giggles)
Jake- do I have something on my face, come on tell me
Erika-no you are good, it's just I'm really grateful for you. You make me happy.
Jake- awe babe, I'm glad I make you happy, come here, gimme kiss.
Erika crawled over to Jake and gave him a long and passionate kiss. Jake fell on his back and wrapped his arms around her.
