Chapter 10

It's been a couple of days, Jake and Erika have been getting closer and closer, Max has been covering for Erika because Charlie was questioning why he hasn't been seeing Rik and who was the blonde guy dropping her off at work most days. Erika has been feeling guilty for keeping Jake and her a secret, so she decided to tell Charlie tonight at work.

Erika's POV- I woke up next to my amazing boyfriend, he looks adorable sleeping, my bby snores and I can't help but giggle which always causes him to wake up. As predicted, I felt his hands pull me closer to him and little kisses placed all over my face.

Erika- morning Jake

Jake- morning (pulls her in for a kiss) I can get use to waking up like this.

Erika- me too. (Rik was cuddled up to Jake's side with her hand placed on his chest rubbing it in circles.) I'm telling Charlie today about us, I can't keep it a secret anymore I feel so bad for Max having to cover and I don't like keeping secrets from Charlie. Ughh I'm scared

Jake- don't be scared, whatever happens I'm still gonna be here for you, also do you need me to pick you up tonight from work?

Erika- yes please and thank you (kisses his cheek) We should probably get up to make breakfast.

Jake- okay, I have to head to work soon

Erika –wait where do you work, I feel like you never told me haha

Jake- oh well I work for the police department

Erika- wait you are a cop!!

Jake- well more like a police officer but yea

Erika- omg babe I didn't know (gets happy) that's kinda hot

Jake- oh is it now (smirks) well have I ever told you that I think bartenders are hot especially at that bar across the street. She's a babe.

Erika- okay that's enough...officer (giggles)

Jake- I can't with you (chuckles)

Erika- I think we better get up for breakfast. At what time do you have to head out?

Jake- um probably a hour or two.

Erika- alright, so Pancakes or waffles or eggs with bacon? Yum

Jake- okay food lover, whatever is fine with me.

Erika- hmmm so all 3?

Jake- okay sure, I'll start the waffle and the pancakes and you can get the ingredients out for the eggs and bacon.

Erika- okay but wait, you forgot one thing...
