When he said that it seemed like a million years until he actually said the gender
"It's a... Wait a minuet what is that?"
"What?! what's wrong?" I shutter nervously
"Oh... there's nothing wrong. It's actually quite exciting and rare"
The rare part didn't hit me as exciting... At all. For all I know exciting to him could be four arms that's not exciting. Don't get me wrong I would still love my child in any circumstance. I just don't know if I would be ready.
"Rare how?" I continue to ask
"Your having triplets which would explain why your getting big so fast."
"Tri...tri...triplets?" jazzy jumps in excitement
I'm excited and shocked... and don't even know what to think. I stare at the computer.
"Why...why didn't you see this before?"
"Well sometimes early in a pregnancy the three eggs line up so you aren't able to see them as well but now they have been relocated to their growing position-"
"But they are all healthy?" not even remembering why I really came
"Yes they are all healthy and should be if you take these prenatal vitamins and you don't stress to much." he hands me prenatal vitamins and I ask him what the genders are.
"Well baby A," as he says pointing to the closest baby on the screen "is a girl"
I shriek with excitement and the doctor laughs. "Baby B in the middle here is a girl and Baby C is definitely a boy"
Jazzy and my eyes open wide at the sight of my sons... well you know. I felt more excited then scared but knowing me I will definitely change my mind several times.
