"Me and my boy want to challenge you to a race" Jughead announced. "If we win, Serpents remain autonomous and you quit dealing at Southside High." Jug continued. "If we win?" Malachai questioned. "We fold...and you can continue polluting Southside with your little straws of death." Sarcastically and unimpressed, Mal begins, "So the mighty Serpent Prince has some stones but not much else...so unless Your Highness wants to put some of Daddy's territory on the table, I have no reason to agree to a race."
The next thing they knew, the doors flew open " They were following me. Tried to get in the garage." A guy interrupted, trailing behind was a guilty looking y/n and her blonde best friend, Betty Cooper.
"What are you doing here?" They asked each other with a confused expression. "Wait. So these are your bitches?" Malachai shouts. "Excuse me?!" Y/n raises her voice back at him. His eyes meet her own, with a smirk appearing on his face, Malachai licked his lips- intrigued by the (y/h/c) haired girl that stood before him.

"Not gonna happen, no way!" The beanie- wearing boy states firmly.
"Then there will be no race." The Ghoolie shrugs.
"Deal." Y/n steps forward. Instantly Jug shakes his head and Archie tries to talk her out of her decision whilst Betty rugs on her arm.
"You will win Juggy. I believe in you." Y/n reassured him. Admitting defeat, Jug spokes one last time.
"We will get you back. I promise, and as for you-" Jughead continues, turning to face the Ghoolie once again. "Don't. Lay. A. Single. Finger. On. Her." He warns. Malachai giggles and holds his hands up in protest. "I'll try."

Finally, the others had left, leaving Malachai and y/n alone, on the old leather sofa. "Tell me about yourself" he asked, pouring two glasses of whiskey. "Huh?" She asks, a little taken back. "Tell me about yourself." He repeats, "Like how and why you would even become a Serpent, stuff like that."
After a pretty long conversation, the gangs enemy spoke up, "But why would such a pretty girl like you waste your time hanging out with a bunch of losers?" Malachai asked, moving closer. Y/n didn't know how to respond right away. "They are like family to me." She replied. He smiled faintly, picking up a strand of her hair which hung across her face, before tucking it behind her ear. Now she could feel his breath against her skin. "We could be your family..." he whispered before leaning in...
