Secret Relationship // Fangs x Reader (requested)

Gladys approached the dilapidated, dark building commonly known as Gargoyle Ground 0, the home to the most loyal g&g players. She was faced with worn out faces, two of them being Kurtz and his younger sister y/n.
"If you come and work for me, you will be payed." Gladys tempted. Finally the decision was made, the gargoyles would now become part of the serpents, and their life as the know it would be changed. Being exposed into the light for the first time in so long. Gathering some essentials, fizzle rocks and masks, the gargoyles headed over to the Jones' trailer, where they would meet the serpent leader.

The following day, the gargoyles stepped into the halls of Riverdale High, taking over one of the classrooms to play their game and take fizzle rocks. Kurtz cared for his sister more than anything, but he was in too deep with the game and that's why y/n became addicted to it along with the toxic fizzle rocks too. A meeting shortly followed, including both of the gangs, however not everybody was happy about the decisions made to unite the serpents and gargoyles. Kurtz defended his gang, standing up the the formed member known as Fangs. Y/n could sense the tension building between the pair and Sweet Pea was already defending his best friend. Taking it upon herself, the young girl rose from her current position on the desk and stood in front of her brother, wiping the smirk off his face. She placed a hand on his chest lightly, signalling him to backdown. "Maybe if everyone tried to calm down and listen to Jughead, we could all try to work this out." Y/n attempted to reason. Her brother shook his head in disappointment, pushing past her and walking out the door.
Jughead and y/n sighed, whilst Sweet Pea narrowed his eyes at the girl in front of him. Fangs however gave her a sympathetic smile at her efforts.

Alone without Kurtz' shadow, the girl stood shoving her books into her locker, Fangs took it upon himself to approach her.
"Hey" he started.
"Hey" the girl smiled.
"I'm sorry about my brother, he can be a bit...unfair sometimes." Y/n apologised.
"It's okay, you shouldn't apologise for you brothers actions, but thank you, for at least thing to settle things earlier." Gangs spoke. The conversation flowed and Fangs received the girls number, which he continued to message through out the night. The girl beamed down at her phone, happy that the serpent didn't care that she was a gargoyle. They do say opposites attract after all.

Days passed with secret meet ups with the boy, both hiding their feelings towards each other from their former gang members. It was a Wednesday afternoon at Riverdale High, a normal day you could say. That was until y/n saw the sight in front of her. Her heart stopped as her brother dangled the guy she liked from the stairs. Luckily his friends managed to break his fall resulting in no serious harm. But that didn't stop the rage that the younger girl was feeling. "What the hell was that for!" She yelled at Kurtz, angrily slapping the side of his arm.
"It's the least he deserves after he betrayed us, you should know that." He spat. The girl shook her head in disbelief. Tears pricked her eyes. She needed to make sure Fangs was alright. Turning on her heals, she headed down the corridors to find him. Y/n found him alone in the student lounge, the other Serpents attending Jugheads latest meeting.
"I just wanted to make sure you are okay after what Kurtz did to you." The raven haired boy nodded his head in reply, "I'll be fine."
Looking down at her feet feeing guilty, he placed his hand softly on her shoulder. The bell rang from next lesson.
"Meet me at Pops tonight?" He questioned. This caused y/n to raise her head, "of course."

The two slid into a booth at the small diner. After spending the majority of the night together, Y/n couldn't take it any longer and neither could he. They both needed to let their feelings out and confess, but were unsure of the reaction they would receive. Luckily for her, Fangs was the one to bring up the topic.
"I need to tel you something." He began.
"I really like you." He breathed out.
A smile formed on the young girls face.
"I really like you too." She admitted.
And that's when the sneaking around began. That night, y/n became Fangs' girlfriend and somehow he managed to convince her to stop taking fizzle rocks but she was more reluctant to stop playing the dangerous game that was g&g. But no one could know of their relationship for fear of bad reactions.

As the weeks passed, the sneaking continued. Sweet Pea soon learnt of the surprising relationship due to finding out how close they had became.
Walking down the dark streets of the town hand in hand, the pair was oblivious to the boy following them down the street. His face fell as he saw their hands interlocked. Sadness and anger filled his body. Kurtz finally put the pieces together. In pain, he slipped back into the shadows in the dead of the night.
