Unexpected // Jughead Jones x Reader ~ Part 2

The weekend rolled around, the cold breeze blew against the beanie wearing boy's face. His feet carrying him further from home until they stopped uncertainly outside a white door.
Jughead knocked twice, softly as panic and regret built up inside of him.
The door opened to reveal a petite body, her face looked worn out as if she hadn't slept in days. "Hey." He began awkwardly.
"Hey? Seriously? What do you want Jughead." Y/n replied furiously.
"Can I come in?" Wanting to get it over as soon as possible, she reluctantly let him into her home.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want you to find out like that-" he began.
"You mean you didn't want me to find out at all." She scoffed.
"Clearly whatever you wanted to tell me was important..." he trailed off, hinting for her to tell him.
"Like I said, you don't deserve to know and now I don't want anything to do with you. I can do this on my own. Now take your fake apologies with you and leave. Go to Betty. We are OVER." The girl was on the edge of tear, but had to put on a strong front.
Jughead stared at her for a moment before angrily walking out the door. 'I can do this without him. I can do this without him' she reassured herself. She really could.

4 years later and y/n's life had changed dramatically but for the best. She now has a 3 year old daughter Lily, which was definitely taking after y/n. Her beautiful features inherited from her mother. In the end, she did it all without Jughead. And instead had the love and support of her boyfriend, Daniel. He didn't mind that it wasn't his own but definitely treated her as if she was. His love for their baby was stronger than anything.

Walking down the old street of her hometown, Lily waddled next to her mother, clinging tightly to her hand. Daniel had his arm around his girlfriend, proud of all she has done at such a young age. He was older by 2 years and was in awe of her bravery. Jughead was coming in the opposite direction, glaring at the pair.
'I wonder if he knew' she thought to herself. Since he left her house that day, he didn't return back. At school they wouldn't even acknowledge each other and outside of school, well they never even came into contact.
People began to realise that she was pregnant in the final year of school, luckily she wasn't due until they had left and she was already dating Daniel by then, so people presumed it was his.
Deep down y/n thought that he may have some idea considering she never told him what was so important all that time ago. However life was going well, and to be honest, she was happy with Daniel and her baby girl, and wouldn't change that for the world. So for now, Jughead remains oblivious.
