This is an alternate ending, meaning that this did not, in fact, happen in the actual book. It is only a different ending. :)

*One year after the accident*
All the passengers were already going in, but like a scene taken out of a movie, it felt like Christina and Daniel were slow motion.
"Look, we haven't said our good-byes yet, right?" The girl smiled weakly.
"And we won't so soon. Remember, good-bye's for losers!" Daniel yelled stubbornly from behind the gate. "Don't be a stranger! Call me, write to me, Skype me..." He shrugged. "I wanna know all about Spain, South Africa, or wherever..."
A tear fell out of Christina's eye. "Danny... This is it, isn't it?" She bit her lower lip. "We're moving on."
He felt a lump on his throat - there was nothing he could do anymore. He couldn't stop her leaving, travelling the world like she had always dreamed of. They were moving on.
Then, Daniel felt a thing grow inside of him, making his heart beat faster, full of excitement.
It was hope. That was it.
"Don't be a stranger." He repeated, waving like a mad man.
"Promise me one last thing!" She yelled, making the entire airport stare at them.
"Anything you want." He replied sincerely to his best friend.
"If you see a girl and her smile charms you, just like you said mine did when we were kids... It doesn't matter where you are, stop everything you're doing and ask her out," Christina ordered. "Don't give chances up."
Daniel nodded "And if some Spanish or wherever he's from dude annoys you just like I did... Give him your number."
She blew him a kiss, cleaning another tear and walking towards her gate.
He smiled weakly, shaking his head and walking towards his car. Neither of them looked back.
'You know what the difference between giving up and moving on is? Giving up is when you had a chance and you don't fight for it... And moving on is when you realize that perhaps its better that you don't try, because your efforts won't be able to change anything. But when you move on, you accept. You learn. You grow.'

"There's someone here for you Miss Christina,' Christina's Italian personal assistant said down the phone.
"Now?" "Yeah. They're waiting downstairs."
She grabbed a banana and headed down the stairs to the reception. It had been a hectic week.
When she got there, the room was empty apart from him. Sitting on the sofa in front of the glass shop front. The winter sun shining behind him. Memories flooded back.
"Chris." He exhaled.
"Hey." She was stunned.
He smiled and his face came alive.
After a few seconds she regained composure. "What are you doing here?"
"Me and the boys were doing a meet and greet in Spain and I thought of seeing miss-almighty-world-famouse-wedding-planner."
She had to laugh slightly at the title. "Not exactly, but yeah... I can't believe it's been so long... "
"Two and a half years almost... yeah."
"I'm sorry. I promised myself I'd stay in touch but..." She admitted.
"No. I did the same. Look, do you want to grab a coffee?" She nodded and followed him out of the door.
Christina shivered in the wind and he shrugged his coat off and put it around her shoulders. It smelt so familiar.
They sat down in a little Italian coffee shop and caught up. Her. Planning top celebrity weddings. Travelling the world. Him. Soccer. Youtube. He asked about her family and she asked about his.
"Are you... seeing anyone?" The question was innocent enough but there was a glint in his eyes which caused everything to unravel.
Everything she had told myself over the last two years - how she convinced herself she had made the right decision in Australia to leave - fell apart. But they weren't in Australia, they were in Italy.
She shook her head. "No."
"I was hoping you'd say that." He smiled cheekily.
Christina had a split second of doubt over whether she wanted to get into this again but her pounding heart ruled. They leant over the table and kissed like they'd never been apart.
The rest, they say, is history.

Sorry it took so long to put this up!
So, there has been a lot of confusion as to why Christina is alive in this. It is because I did not write this. I repeat, I did not write this. This was sent to me by a fan of my book, and she chose to write an ending where Chris didn't die. THIS IS AN ALTERNATIVE ENDING. *not trying to be rude but if you don't know what alternative means, please just look it up... I'm sorry but I've already explained it to at least five different people...
