Chapter Five

Recap:

I felt eyes on me, and looked up at Luke, sure enough, he was watching me.

"I know that this is probably wrong... and too soon... but, will you go out on a date with me?" He asked nervously, and hesitantly.

"Of course Luke!" I said, throwing my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist, and hugged me so close to his body, that there was no room left. Jai walked into the room, and I immediately pulled away from Luke's warm body, "So, tomorrow? But, lets keep it secret... I don't want anyone to tell Daniel, and ruin your relationship with him. Agreed?" I whispered, in his ear.

"Agreed." He replied, also whispering.

We stood there, for a few seconds longer, than walked out and into the living room. I snuck a glance over my shoulder, Jai was looking at us, confusion in his eyes, before following us.

"So... uhh... what do you guys want to do...?" Jai asked, the way he said it made the situation awkward.

"Anyone wanna go to the park?" Luke asked, looking down at me, his arm was wrapped around my shoulder, he smiled at me, and the only reason I didn't kiss him then and there, was because of Jai. Why is he always there at the worst of times...?

"I don't wanna take the chance of bumping into Daniel. I know he supposably 'went home' but in case he decided to clear his head, or whatever that bastard does..." I said, still slightly pissed at him. "By the way, where did Beau go?"

"Oh, he went to Kaitlyn's... I wish he wouldn't date her..." Jai trailed off, looking at the ground seemingly lost in thought, his head snapped up, "I'm not trying to sound like a jerk or anything! But..." He said, realizing what had just come out of his mouth.

"She's a bitch." Luke said, looking down to me, from Jai. Thank you Luke, for getting to the point. Jai's just too nice sometimes...

"Okay... I agree with you guys on that one... how about a game of Dare or Dare?" I asked, they just looked at me with confusion on their faces, "You know, we were deciding on what to do..." I said, talking slowly and trailing off.

"Oh yeah. Sure." Luke said, realization overtaking his face.

"CHRIS!" Jai suddenly screamed, making me jump.

"What?! Are you hurt?!" I said, throwing Luke's arm off of my shoulder, pushing him a little harder than I thought I would, making him fall on his butt, and running the short distance to Jai.

"No... I just thought of a dare, and wanted to go first..." Jai said, staring at me, then he shifted his gaze to Luke who was still on the ground, and started giggling like a five year old girl. Pretty soon, his giggling evolved into laughter.

Of course, being me, I joined him, and walked over to Luke - the only one not laughing - and helped him up. I calmed myself to a giggle, as he stood. He gave us both a sarcastic smile, then walked to the couch and sit down. Jai and I followed him, plopping down on the opposite couch.

"Okay so what is this dare that is so urgent?" I asked, stopping myself from giggling any longer.

"The dare was - no... oh, maybe it was - gah, that's not it either..." Jai said, with a very serious expression on his face, just as Beau walked in.

"I dare Chris to kiss all of us, and tell us who the best kisser is!" Beau shouted, jumping through the air, his arms extended in front of his body, and landing sprawled out on Jai and I. His face was resting on my lap, and he turned, so he was looking up at me.

Ever since he said my dare, I have been staring at Luke. My phone buzzed, and I looked at my text.
