So there we were, kissing with as much passion as we had. It was magical. Well, besides the pain in my stomach. Again, just like before, I felt the electric surge pulsate through me.
He pulled away moments later and offered me a hand up.
"Thanks," I managed to squeak out, still dazed from the kiss. He pulled me up and escorted me back to my bed.
"What are we gonna do now that your dad is back?" He asked.
"I'm pretty sure it's ok for you to stay here for another couple of hours," I assured. Once I laid down, he walked over to my bathroom and flipped on the light.
"Woah!" He exclaimed, "what the hell happened to your mirror?" I laughed slightly as he looked at me, waiting for an answer.
"A user's stupidity," I replied and he smiled and turned the light back off. Just as he sat down, my phone went off. It was a text from my grandma. It read:
Happy bday kayla dr, hope you have a gr8 day! <3 grandma m.
"Ooh," Blaze said as he leaned over to glance at my message, "today is your birthday?" He yelled.
"Shhh. My dad isn't deaf you know" and he covered his mouth.
"Yes, it is my birthday," I countinued, "I'm officially 17 now." He chuckled.
"Well, we can't just stay in here! Let's go do something fun." He exclaimed.
"Alright, and I should tell you that the last week of school, which is next week, I don't show up."
He looked at me with that devilish grin he sometimes used and simply said, "then neither will I."
