Chapter 3

Eden

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I rub my eyes and pray it will shut up. Finally realizing I'm going to have to get up I roll over and shut it off.

"Holy shit! Please, please tell me that's not the time!" I yell to myself running towards my bathroom

Once I get in I realize I'm going to have to take the shortest shower known to Eden, history. Once I get the steamy water going and I have taken off my clothes I hope into it's warmth. Squirting some shampoo into my hair I message it in before rinsing it out. Then followed by conditioner and peach body wash.

After I quickly get out I look at the clock. Awesome I only took eight minutes. I dry myself off and apply simple make up some mascara, and foundation. Grabbing a pair of earrings I then proceed to throw my hair up into a crazy bun with a headband. Grabbing a pair of jeans and a tank top with my favorite light black jacket and Toms. I grab the boxes from O' Malley's farm and head out to my car without much hassle. I look at the clock one last time and hope I make it to the farmers market a little early.

Jacobs POV

Waking up to an alarm on a Saturday is not something I'm used to. Normally I would probably sleep well into the afternoon. But, thanks to my cousin I'll be helping her lift what she calls "heavy" honey boxes. Getting out of bed I throw a turquoise Nike, shirt and some cargo shorts with some black Vans. Grabbing my iPhone and keys I head for the door. Just as I'm about to leave my phone starts ringing.

"Hello?" I ask forgetting to check the caller ID

"Hey! Where are you?" Stacy asks sounding a little to enthusiastic for 6:45 in the morning.

"I'm on my way. It's not even seven yet." I inform her

"I know! But I'm so excited" she squeals back

"Ok I'm hanging up now see you soon" I tell her

"Okay! Can't wait" she says before hanging up

"I'm sure you can't" I mumble to myself

Once I pull up to my grandmas I see my grandma, Jane, and my grandpa Bill and cousin all sitting on the porch. I don't notice my cousins car so it looks like I'll be the chauffeur ... Great.

"Hey grandpa hey grandma" I call as I get out of the car

"Uhm... Hello my dear sweet cousin" Stacy says sarcastically

"Hey person I just talked to like ten minutes ago" I tell her

"Enough you two" my grandma says with a smile on her face "let's get you guys going I don't want you to be late it starts at 7:30" she tell us

Once we get everything loaded and she goes over the prices and whatnot I have a overly excited cousin in my passenger seat

"Ok well we are going to head out then grams" I tell our grandma

"Ok sweetie bye"

I start to pull out and I hear her yell

"Wait!"

"Yeah?" I ask

"I forgot to tell you. There is a sweet girl that always helps me out. So if you guys have any questions ask her. She has the spot right next to me" she informs us

"Ok sounds good. Bye love you" I find my cousin speaking before I get the chance to.

"Bye bye now" Grandma calls after us.

"I. Am. So. Pumped" Stacy says with a game face on

"It's farmers market not a shopping spree" I mumble under my breath. But she doesn't hear me because she is already singing along to the latest song on the radio. Boy this is going to be a long day.
